Abstract
A solar cell comprises: a photoelectric conversion layer; a first electrode provided on one side of the photoelectric conversion layer; a second electrode provided on the other side of the photoelectric conversion layer; and a third electrode for leading out the output from the second electrode. The third electrode has a peripheral portion overlapped with the second electrode on the other side of the photoelectric conversion layer in the in-plane direction of the photoelectric conversion layer, and the corners of the peripheral portion rounded to form a substantially square shape. Thus, it is possible to obtain the solar cell in which peeling off of the third electrode which is overlapped with the second electrode is effectively prevented.
