Abstract

The invention relates to a method for production of metal, in particular a foam of silver or gold, comprising the deposition by chemical means of a thin first layer of metal such as silver or gold on the surface of the bubbles of a polyurethane foam or similar to give a metal foam and deposition by electrolytic means of a second layer of the same metal of greater thickness on the surface of the bubbles of the silver or gold foam.
