Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a multi-channel diffraction pattern with additional information which is dependent upon the direction of observation, consisting of the following steps: a) provision of a multi-channel diffraction pattern (12) which reconstructs diffraction optical images in various directions of observation (L,R) according to specific conditions of observation, and wherein the diffraction optical information (20, 22) for the various directions of observation (L, R) is stored in various image areas (24,26) of the diffraction pattern (12) associated with the respective channel, and b) additional information (30,32) which is dependent upon the direction of observation is inscribed with the aid of at least one laser writing beam of a writing laser into at least one channel of the multi-channel diffraction pattern (12) by local (34, 36) laser-induced modification of the optical characteristics of the diffraction pattern (12) in the areas of the pattern (24, 26) that are associated with the channel which is to be inscribed with additional information, wherein c) recognition of the areas of the pattern (24, 26) associated with the channel that is to be inscribed is carried out by a recognizing laser beam in the beam path of the writing laser.
