Abstract

In general, in a first aspect, the invention features a droplet deposition system (100), including a jetting assembly (112) comprising one or more modules (105-108) capable of ejecting droplets (111), a plurality of conduits (145-148, 155-158) in fluid communication with the jetting assembly (112), and a valve (101) coupled to the conduits (145-148, 155-158) and adjustable between a first state in which fluid flow through the conduits (145-148, 155-158) is substantially prevented and a second state in which fluid flow through the conduits (145-148, 155-158) is allowed.
