Abstract

Polymers that can form the substrate of an implantable medical device and form coatings for implantable medical devices and methods for their fabrication are disclosed, the coatings comprising polymers that are hydrolyzed at a substantially constant rate or that have been pre-pared so that they degrade at a rate closer to constant.
