Abstract

The present invention provides a method for the simultaneous analysis, in a homogeneous format, for detection of multiple nucleic acid target sequences. The invention utilizes capture probes conjugated to substrates that are distinguishable based on unique spectral signature in combination with reporter probes having a separately detectable label. In the presence of a target sequence, detectable complexes are formed that are distinguishable for each combination of target, capture probe and reporter probe.
