the server 20 and the Personal Computer (PC) 30. FIG. 2 is a circuit block diagram showing the principal part of the mobile phone, which executes the downloading of a ring tone based on the voice/music file of the present invention and outputs the downloaded ring tone. Referring to the drawing, the mobile phone 10 applied to the present invention includes a processor 11, a keypad 12 for the input of a telephone number, a menu item selection and a downloading execution command into the processor 11, memory 12 for storing a music file, that is, a self-composed music file, downloaded via the wireless Internet, a display 14 for displaying call status, wireless Internet connection status and information about an accompaniment list and the rate of progress of downloading, an Radio Frequency (RF) module 15 for assisting the mobile phone in exchanging data with a wireless Internet server via a repeater, and an audio signal processing module 16 provided with a microphone 17 and a speaker for carrying out a voice signal processing function for a voice call. On the basis of the above-described hardware construction, the production and downloading of a self- composed music file and the application of a downloaded self-composed music file are described in detail below. When a self-composed music file production item is selected from a karaoke service menu after the mobile phone 10 is connected to the server 20, the server 20 transmits
an accompaniment list to the mobile phone to allow the accompaniment list to be displayed on the display 14 of the mobile phone. At this time, when an accompaniment is selected by manipulating the keypad 12 of the mobile phone-, the server 20 transmits the data file of the selected accompaniment stored in the accompaniment DB 21 to the mobile phone without change, or an accompaniment reproduced by a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) . After the file data of the accompaniment is downloaded to the mobile phone, a corresponding file is reproduced in the audio signal processing module 16 and output through the speaker 18, and the song or voice of the user sounded in accord with the accompaniment is collected by the microphone 17, and dubbed in the accompaniment to form a single file by the processor 11. The self-composed voice/music file produced described as above is transmitted to the server 200 through the RF module 15, and the server 20 having received the self- composed voice/music file converts the voice/music file into a mobile phone-dedicated executable file and registers the mobile phone-dedicated executable file in the personal account DB 22. In contrast, the accompaniment reproduced in the server 20 by the MIDI is processed in real time by the audio signal processing module 16 and output through the
speaker 18, and the song or voice of the user sounded in accord with the accompaniment is collected by the microphone 17 and transmitted to the server 20 through the RF module 15, and the server 20 dubs the received voice and music in the accompaniment to produce a self-composed voice/music file, converts the self-composed voice/music file into a mobile phone-dedicated executable file and registers the mobile phone-dedicated executable file in the personal account DB 22. The above-described the production of the mobile phone-dedicated executable file is performed through the PC 30 connected to the server 20 through the wireless Internet and the gateway 25 in the same fashion. Meanwhile, the mobile phone-dedicated executable file registered in the personal account DB 22 of the mobile phone user is downloaded to the memory 13 of the user's mobile phone 10 or another person's mobile phone, and a corresponding mobile phone can execute a self-composed ring tone, a self-composed call waiting tone and a self-composed call background sound based on the downloaded file. FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing an embodiment of a process of producing and registering a self-composed mobile phone-dedicated executable file in accordance with the present invention. Referring to the drawing, at the first step, it is detected that the mobile phone is connected to the Internet
karaoke and self-composed file production service server via the wireless Internet server. At the second step, an accompaniment list is provided to the detected mobile phone to select a specific accompaniment from the accompaniment list, and the server reproduces the specific accompaniment when the specific accompaniment is selected. At the third step, a song or message sounded in accord with the accompaniment being reproduced is received from the mobile phone in real time, and the received song or message is dubbed in the accompaniment to form a single self-composed voice/music file. At the fourth step, the produced self-composed voice/music file is converted into a mobile phone-dedicated executable file. At the fifth step, the mobile phone-dedicated executable file is registered in the personal account DB. Even though the PC is used instead of the mobile phone in the above case, a converted self-composed voice/music file can be registered in the personal account DB. In this case, • the mobile phone directly accesses the server via the wireless Internet, whereas the PC accesses the server through the wired Internet and the gateway. FIG. 4 is a flowchart showing another embodiment of a process of producing and registering a self-composed mobile phone-dedicated executable file in accordance with the
present invention. In this case, unlike the algorithm of producing a self-composed voice/music file in real time shown FIG. 3, after the accompaniment file has been downloaded and a wired or wireless Internet session has been quit, a self- composed voice/music file is produced, and the self- composed voice/music file produced offline is uploaded to the server. Accordingly, in the second embodiment, at the first step, it is detected that the mobile phone is connected to the Internet karaoke and self-composed file production service server via the wireless Internet, as shown in FIG. 2. At the second step, an accompaniment list is provided to the detected mobile phone, a specific accompaniment is selected from the accompaniment list, and the server downloads a corresponding accompaniment file to the memory of the mobile phone when the specific accompaniment is selected. At the third step, in the mobile phone, the accompaniment file is reproduced, and the music or message sounded in accord with the accompaniment is dubbed in the accompaniment through the processor of the mobile phone to form a self-composed voice/music file. At the fourth step, the self-composed voice/music file produced in the mobile phone is uploaded to the
server. At the fifth step, the self-composed voice/music file uploaded to the server is converted into a mobile phone- dedicated executable file. At the sixth step, the self-composed voice/music file converted into the mobile phone-dedicated executable file is registered in the personal account DB. In regard to the production and registration of such a self-composed voice/music file, the self-composed voice/music file can be produced by a PC instead of the mobile phone and may be registered in the personal account DB of a corresponding mobile phone. In this case, the mobile phone accesses the server via the wireless Internet, whereas the PC accesses the server via the wired Internet and a gateway. FIG. 5 is a flowchart showing a process of downloading and executing a mobile phone-dedicated voice/music file. First, the mobile phone accesses the server via the wireless Internet to download the self-composed voice/music file. Thereafter, an Internet self-composed music file downloading item is selected from a menu and the mobile phone accesses the personal account DB of the user. Subsequently, when a desired file is selected from self-composed voice/music files stored in the personal
account DB, and a mobile phone to which the selected self- composed voice/music file is downloaded is designated, the server checks the device type and memory size of the mobile phone, and executes the downloading of the selected self- composed voice/music file if a downloading requirement is satisfied. When the self-composed voice/music file has been downloaded to the memory of the mobile phone and then is set to a ring tone, call waiting tone or background call tone, a self-composed voice or music file is output from the user' s mobile phone or the mobile phone of the user' s friend as a ring tone, call waiting tone or background call tone.
Industrial Applicability As described above, the present invention allows the user of a mobile phone to personally produce a voice/music file to be applied to the mobile phone and used as a ring tone or the like, and allows the voice/music file produced as described above to be downloaded to the user's mobile phone or the mobile phone of the user's friend and to be used as a ring tone, call waiting tone or background call tone for the mobile phone, so that the present invention provides a unique effect in that a unique ring tone, so- called coloring or background call sound can be implemented
on the mobile phone.
