Abstract

Thin film shape memory alloy (SMA) micro pump (fig. 1) that uses the pumped fluid to cool the membrane pumping member (3) .This occurs through forced convection as the pumped fluid enters through the inlet porthole (5) and exits through outlet portholes (6) from the pump cavity (25).
