Abstract

The present invention relates to a container lid (1) for sealing a container used to hold fluids and provides a reservoir (12) for collection of a portion of bulk fluid contained in the container to speed cooling relative to the bulk fluid and allows speedier drinking of hot fluids with reduced risk of scalding. The reservoir (12) is located between a top (20) and base (10).
