Abstract

A system and method for producing a bar code image on blister pack packaging is disclosed. More particularly, a designer, or other party responsible for providing a bar code image on blister pack packaging, uses the present invention to define a template for blister pack packaging, and to provide human readable information and a bar code to be placed on at least one blister pack unit of the blister pack packaging. The present invention generates a representation of the blister pack packaging, wherein at least one blister pack unit has the bar code placed thereon. The blister pack packaging is produced, at least in part, by using the representation.
