従来、 吸収性物品、 例えば使い捨ておむっとしては、 図 7 に要部 を模式的に示すように、 外装シート 2 1 の肌面側に吸収体 2 2が取 付けられ、 この吸収体 2 2 の左右上面に立ち上がりフラップ 2 3の 基端部 2 3 aがそれぞれ接合されたものが提案されている （W 0 9 4 / 2 8 8 4 0 ； 特表平 8 — 5 1 0 9 4 0号）。
上記公報に記載された立ち上がりフラップ 2 3 は、 実線 aで示す 折り畳み位置から自由端部 2 3 bが大きく立ち上がる ことにより (二点鎖線 b参照）、 排尿等の横漏れを防止するためのものである。 ところで、 上記吸収性物品の製造工程において、 立ち上がり フラ ップ 2 3の基端部 2 3 aを吸収体 2 2の上面に接合する際には、 吸 収体 2 2 を高速走行させながらその上面にホッ トメルト接着剤 c を 塗布して、 この塗布したホッ トメルト接着剤 c の上に、 折り畳んだ 立ち上がりフラップ 2 3の基端部 2 3 aを重ね合わせて接着するよ うになつている。
しかしながら、 ホッ トメルト接着剤 c の塗布域精度には限界があ つて、 立ち上がり フラップ 2 3の基端部 2 3 aの内端より も内側ま ではみ出して塗布された場合 （ c ' 参照）、 自由端部 2 3 bの内端が 基端部 2 3 aの内端より も内側に位置していると、 自由端部 2 3 b がはみ出したホッ トメルト接着剤 c ' で吸収体 2 2 の上面に接着さ れてしまって、 立ち上がらなくなるので、 排尿等の横漏れを有効に 防止できなくなるという問題がある。
なお、 立ち上がりフラップ 2 3の基端部 2 3 aは、 上述したよう な吸収体 2 2の上面に接合するタイプの他に、 吸収体の両側に位置 する外装シートの肌面に接着するタイプ、あるいは、外装シー トを、 不透液性のバックシー 卜と、 このバックシートより も幅狭の トップ シー トとで構成して、 吸収体をバックシートと トップシー トとの間 に介装するとともに、 防水性若しくは撥水性の立ち上がりフラップ の基端部を吸収体の両側位置でトップシー トとバックシー トとに跨 つて接着するタイプでも同様の問題がある。
本発明は、 上記問題を解決するためになされたもので、 立ち上が りフラップの自由端部が常に安定的に立ち上がって、 排尿等の横漏 れを有効に防止できる吸収性物品を提供することを目的とするもの である。 発明の開示
本発明は、 前腹部と後背部との間の股部両側にレッグ開口部が形 成されてなる外装シー トと、 この外装シー トの肌面側の股部に接合 された吸収体と、 自由端部に前後方向に延びる弹性部材が伸長状態 で接合された左右の立ち上がりフラップとが設けられて、 この各立 ち上がりフラップの基端部は、 上記吸収体の両側に位置するように 接着剤で接合する際に、 立ち上がりフラップが平面的に折り畳まれ た状態で、 立ち上がりフラップの基端部の接合内端が基端部の内端 より も外側に位置するように設定されていることを特徴とする吸収 性物品を提供するものである。 本発明によれば、 立ち上がりフラップの基端部を吸収体の両側に 位置するように接着剤で接合する際に、 平面的に折り畳まれた状態 の立ち上がりフラップの基端部の接合内端が基端部の内端より も外 側に位置するように設定することにより、 ホッ トメルト接着剤が基 端部の接合内端よりも内側まではみ出して塗布された場合でも、 接 合内端が基端部の内端より も外側に位置しているから、 はみ出した ホッ トメルト接着剤で自由端部が接着されるおそれがなくなる。 図面の簡単な説明

以下、 本発明の実施例の形態を図面を参照して詳細に説明する。 図 1〜図 4に示すように、吸収性物品である使い捨ておむつ 1 は、 基本的には、 外装シー ト 2 と吸収体 3 と左右一対の立ち上がり フラ ップ 4 とで構成されている。

上記トップシート 1 1 は、 ポリエステル、 ポリプロピレン、 ポリ エチレン等や、 その他の熱可塑性樹脂を原料とした合成繊維からな る透液性不織布や織布を用いることができる。 また、 天然繊維、 天 然繊維と合成繊維との組合せ素材からなるものであっても良い。
上記バックシート 1 0の前腹部 Pの下面にはフロンタルテープ 5 が取付けられると共に、 後背部 Qの両側には、 図 2 に示すように、 使用時にフロンタルテープ 5に貼付けて、 外装シー ト 2を立体的に 組み立てるためのファスニングテープ 6がそれぞれ取付けられてい る。 なお、 フロンタルテープ 5 とファスニングテープ 6は、 着脱可 能な機械式ファスナーであっても良い。
上記バックシート 1 0の前後端部には、 ウェス ト用弾性部材バン ド 7が伸長状態で取付けられており、このウェス ト用弾性部材 7は、 バックシート 1 0 にホッ トメルト接着剤で接着される トップシート 1 1 との間に挟み込まれている。
上記吸収体 3は、 バックシー ト 1 0の横幅方向のほぼ中央部でお むつ前後方向に延在するように配置されて、 トップシー ト 1 1 をバ ックシー ト 1 0 に接着.手段 dで接着 （図 4参照） する際に、 トップ シー ト 1 1 との間に介装されるようになる。
この吸収体 3は、 天然パルプ繊維、 合成繊維や高吸水性樹脂粉末 などを混合し積層したものを用いることができ、 外周を薄葉紙 （テ ィ ッシュ） で包み込むのが好ましい。
上記立ち上がりフラップ 4は、 略 Z字状に折り畳まれて、 上側で 内向きの自由端部 4 bには、 前後方向に延びるフラップ用弾性部材 8が伸長状態で接合されている。 この弹性部材 8 には、 ポリウレタ ン糸、 ポリウレタンフィルム、 天然ゴム、 発泡ウレタンなどが利用 でき、 1本使用に限らず複数本使用であっても良い。
また、 立ち上がりフラップ 4は、 防水性または撥水性のシート状 物であって、 適度の柔らかさと肌当風合い面から、 撥水性を有する 合成樹脂製不織布であるの好ましい。
この立ち上がり フラップ 4の下側で外向きの基端部 4 aは、 上記 吸収体 3の両側位置に配置されて、 トップシー ト 1 1の側端部 1 1 a とバックシート 1 0 とに跨ってホッ トメルト接着剤 eで接着され ている。 また、 図 1 にクロスハッチングで示す立ち上がりフラップ 4の自由端部 4 bの前後部分は、 基端部 4 aに接着されている。 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを トップシー ト 1 1 の側端部 1 1 a とバックシー ト 1 0 とに跨ってホッ トメルト接着剤 eで接着 するに際しては、 図 4の左側に示したように、 立ち上がりフラップ 4が平面的に折り畳まれた状態で、 接着剤 e の接合内端 e ' が基端 部 4 aの内端 4 dより も長さ t だけ外側に位置するように設定され ている。 上記長さ t (すなわち接合内端 e ' と基端部 4 aの内端 4 d との距離） は、 2〜 5 m mであるのが好ましい。
上記のように使い捨ておむつ 1 を構成すれば、 図 2 に示した使用 時には、 自由端部 4 bのフラップ用弹性部材 8 の収縮力によって、 図 4の右側に実線で示したように、 立ち上がり フラップ 4が上方に 立ち上がるようになる。
この場合、 図 4の実施形態においては、 製造工程でホッ トメルト 接着剤が基端部 4 aの接合内端 e ' として設定した部位より も内側 にはみ出して塗布された場合でも、 長さ t だけ余裕があるため基端 部 4 aの内端 4 dを超えてホッ 卜メルト接着剤がはみ出ることはな く、 自由端部 4 bがはみ出したホッ トメルト接着剤で接着されるお それがなくなり、 立ち上がり フラップ 4の自由端部 4 bが常に安定 的に立ち上がって、排尿等の横漏れを有効に防止できるようになる。
なお、 図 4の実施形態では、 自由端部 4 bの内端 4 cが基端部 4 aの内端 4 dより も外側に位置するように折り畳まれて接着された 態様を示した。 この構成により、 ホッ トメルト接着剤が基端部 4 a の接合内端 e ' となるべき部分より も内側にまではみ出して塗布さ れた場合でも、 自由端部 4 bの内端 4 cが、 このはみ出したホッ ト メルト接着剤で基端部 4 aに接着されることがあり得なくなるため 最も好ましい実施態様である。ただし、本発明では前記したように、 基端部 4 aの接合内端 e ' を基端部 4 aの内端 4 dより も長さ t だ け外側に位置させているので、 自由端部 4 bの内端 4 cが基端部 4 aの内端 4 dより も内側に位置するように折り畳んで接着する態様 (二点鎖線 f 参照） を採用することも可能である。
また、 図 4の実施形態において、 使用時に立ち上がりフラップ 4 の自由端部 4 bが立ち上がった場合には、 右側に二点鎖線 f ' で示 したように、 自由端部 4 bの内端 4 cが基端部 4 aの内端 4 dより も内側に位置しても差し支えはない。
上記実施形態では、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを トップ シー ト 1 1 の側端部 1 1 a とバックシー ト 1 0 とに跨って接着して いるから、 排尿等がトップシー ト 1 1上から、 若しくはトップシー ト 1 1 中を伝って、 あるいは吸収体 3から漏れ出そうとしても、 立 ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aによって漏れ出しを防止できるよ うになる。
上記実施形態は、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを トップシ ート 1 1 の側端部 1 1 aとバックシート 1 0 とに跨って接着したも のであるが、 図 5 ( a ) に示すように、 トップシート 1 1 とバック シート 1 0の横幅が同じタイプであれば、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の 基端部 4 aを トップシート 1 1 に接着しても良い。 なお、 立ち上が りフラップ 4は、 以下で説明する図 5 ( c )、 図 6 ( b ) および （ d ) に示すような略 U字状に折り畳まれていても良い。
また、 図 5 ( b ) に示すように、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを吸収体 3の側部に位置する トップシー ト 1 1 に接着しても良 い。 なお、 立ち上がりフラップ 4は、 図 5 ( c ) に示すように、 略 U字状に折り畳んだものであっても良い。
さらに、 図 6 ( a ) に示すように、 トップシー ト 1 1 の無いタイ プでは、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを吸収体 3の両側に位 置するバックシー ト （外装シー トに相当） 1 0 に接着しても良い。 なお、 立ち上がり フラップ 4は、 図 6 ( b ) に示すように、 略 U字 状に折り畳んだものであっても良い。
さらにまた、 図 6 ( c ) に示すように、 トップシー ト 1 1の無い タイプでは、 立ち上がりフラップ 4の基端部 4 aを吸収体 3の両側 に接着しても良い。 なお、 立ち上がりフラップ 4は、 図 6 ( d ) に 示すように、 略 U字状に折り畳んだものであっても良い。
なお、 上記実施形態は、 テープ付きの開閉型使い捨ておむつであ つたが、 失禁パッ ドや、 スリ ップオンタイプの使い捨てパンッにも 適用できることは無論である。 使い捨てパンツの場合は、 各構成部 材として、 当業者に明らかな変更が加えられた部材を用いることが できる。 産業上の利用可能性
以上の説明からも明らかなように、 本発明は、 立ち上がりフラッ プの基端部を吸収体の両側に位置するように接合する際に、 平面的 に折り畳まれた状態の立ち上がり フラップの基端部の接合内端が基 端部の内端より も外側に位置するように設定することにより、 ホッ トメルト接着剤が基端部の接合内端よりも内側まではみ出して塗布 された場合でも、 接合内端が基端部の内端より も外側に位置してい るから、 自由端部がはみ出したホッ トメルト接着剤で接着されるお それがなくなり、 立ち上がり フラップの自由端部が常に安定的に立 ち上がって、 排尿等の横漏れを有効に防止できるようになる。

請求の範囲
1 . 前腹部と後背部との間の股部両側にレッグ開口部が形成され てなる外装シー トと、 この外装シー トの肌面側の股部に接合された 吸収体と、 自由端部に前後方向に延びる弾性部材が伸長状態で接合 された左右の立ち上がりフラップとが設けられて、 この各立ち上が り フラップの基端部は、 上記吸収体の両側に位置するように接着剤 で接合する際に、 立ち上がりフラップが平面的に折り畳まれた状態 で、 立ち上がり フラップの基端部の接合内端が基端部の内端より も 外側に位置するように設定されていることを特徴とする吸収性物品,
2 . 上記立ち上がりフラップの接合内端と基端部の内端との離間 長さが、 2〜 5 m mである請求項 1記載の吸収性物品。
3 . 上記立ち上がりフラップは、 略 Z字状に折り畳まれている請求 項 1 または 2記載の吸収性物品。
