Abstract

A method for controlling a communication device is disclosed, whereby a number of control objects (SO) are represented on a display (DSP) of the communication device, on operation of which a respective control process is carried out. The control objects comprise an operational area of a first respective size. On selection of one (ASO) of the number of control objects the operational area of the selected control object is extended to a second size which is greater than the first size. The user is thus provided with an improved visual representation of the selected object and is further provided with an enlarged contact area or operational area for operation of the selected desired control object.
