Abstract

The invention relates to an agent for heating materials comprising at least one plurality of electrically non-conductive susceptors (2) and at least one plurality of electrically conductive susceptors (3), both the susceptors dispersed in a thermoplastic host matrix (1). Preferably the electrically conductive susceptors comprise micron-sized ferromagnetic particles, and the electrically conductive particles comprise ferromagnetic particles or intrinsically conductive polymer particles.
