Abstract

Techniques to facilitate medical product development are disclosed. These techniques include operating a computer program to maintain a database relating to a development strategy for a medical product, and entering a number of objectives into the database to characterize this strategy. A number of proofs are established with the program to test the objectives that are then grouped into a number of studies. These studies are executed and data from the studies is entered into the database. At least one of the objectives, proofs, or studies is modified in response to the entered data. Such techniques find particular applications to the development of clinical trials for new drugs. In another aspect, various techniques involving the simulation of proofs and study groupings are disclosed.
