Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the retention of information data for the application of a biochip/sample support (1), whereby in order to carry out measurements on the biochip/sample support, the useful signals generated are recorded by a sensor device. The biochip/sample support (1), comprising a data store (3), is connected to an external data bank (5), by means of a communication connection (32) in order to transmit the information data for the data bank (5) to the data store (3) or from the data store (3) to the data bank (5).
