The present invention relates to a hand free apparatus, and in particular to a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which is convenient in installation and use. In a hand free apparatus including a speaker for reproducing a received voice and a mike for picking up the transmitted voice, the hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror comprises: a housing having a function as a general room mirror and built-in the hand free apparatus, the housing comprising: a front housing including a reflective mirror adhered and formed on its surface, a mike formed at a front lower side and for picking up voice, an LCD display window for displaying operations at its central portion, a plurality of LEDs formed at the left and right side of the LCD display window and for displaying operations of switches, a speaker volume, a speaker switch, an RF switch, a channel switch, a recording switch, a recording reproducing switch, which are formed at its lower bottom surface, a voice input terminal and an external power source input terminal, which are formed at its upper portion, and a rear housing including a speaker formed at its external surface and for reproducing and outputting the received voice and fixing clips formed at both sides of its central portion.

Description

HAND FREE APPARATUS HAVING BUILT-IN A ROOM MIRROR
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a hand free apparatus, and in particular to a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which is convenient in installation and use.
BACKGROUND ART
According to increase of vehicles and development of mobile communication, drivers often use their cellular phones in driving vehicles, which causes serious traffic accidents. A bill for preventing drivers from using cellular phones in driving vehicles has been recently introduced. However, an accident ratio due to use of cellular phones in motion has been still increased.
To use a cellular phone in driving a vehicle, a driver holds the cellular phone with one hand and the handle with the other hand. The driver pays attention to communication, and thus cannot sensitively handle the peripheral status, which results in a traffic accident. In order to solve the foregoing problem, there has been sold a hand free apparatus having a mike and a speaker, so that the user can use his/her cellular phone without holding it.
Firstly, a cellular phone is mounted on a vehicle, a hand free kit is connected to a connection terminal disposed at the bottom surface of the cellular phone, and a speaker (or earphone) and a mike are connected thereto, so that the user can use the cellular phone without using his/her hands.
However, the conventional hand free apparatus is fastened to a panel of the vehicle through a screw, which damages the vehicle. If the hand free apparatus is adhered to the vehicle by using an adhesive tape, an adhesive agent may be molten in summer, thus separating the hand free apparatus from the vehicle. It is therefore difficult to wash the portion of the vehicle contaminated with the adhesive agent.
In addition, the driving power of the hand free apparatus is obtained from power of the vehicle through a cigar terminal, which makes it difficult to use a cigar lighter. A protruding plug is also uncomfortable. In the conventional hand free apparatus, a mike and a speaker are adjacent to each other due to a low cost, which results in serious howling.
In an attempt to solve the foregoing problems, the present inventor has suggested a hand free apparatus which modulates a received voice signal of a cellular phone into an FM signal, re-transmits the modulated signal, receives the FM signal through a tuner of a vehicle, and reproduces the received signal through a speaker of the vehicle, and which picks up transmitted voice, and inputs it to the cellular phone.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which is convenient in installation.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which can perform the hand free operation even when a tuner of a vehicle is turned off, by selectively using a self speaker and a speaker of the vehicle. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which can easily obtain driving power by using a solar cell.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror which can display a hand free function for user's convenience.
In order to achieve the above-described object of one aspect of the present invention, in a hand free apparatus including a speaker for reproducing a received voice and a mike for picking up the transmitted voice, the hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror comprising: a housing having a function as a general room mirror and built-in the hand free apparatus, the housing comprising: a front housing including a reflective mirror adhered and formed on its surface, a mike formed at a front lower side and for picking up voice, an LCD display window for displaying operations at its central portion, a plurality of LEDs formed at the left and right side of the LCD display window and for displaying operations of switches, a speaker volume, a speaker switch, an RF switch, a channel switch, a recording switch, a recording reproducing switch, which are formed at its lower bottom surface, a voice input terminal and an external power source input terminal, which are formed at its upper portion; and a rear housing including a speaker formed at its external surface and for reproducing and outputting the received voice and fixing clips formed at both sides of its central portion.

MODES FOR CARRYING OUT THE DSCLOSURE OF INVENTION
A hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The hand free apparatus is connected to a voice output terminal of a cellular phone, for FM-transmitting a received voice output of the other party, and synchronously receiving and outputting the voice through an FM radio, and for inputting voice of the user to the cellular phone through a mike, and transmitting the inputted voice.
The voice of the other party can also be received and reproduced through a self speaker of the hand free apparatus, without using the FM radio. Figure 1 is a structure view illustrating an external shape of the hand free apparatus having built-in the room mirror in accordance with the present invention.
According to the present invention, a housing serves as a general room mirror, and has the hand free apparatus.
The housing includes a front housing 10 and a rear housing 20. A reflective mirror 12 is adhered and formed on the surface of the front housing 10. A mike 111 is formed at a front lower side of the front housing 10, for picking up voice. An LCD display window 30 for displaying operations is formed at the central portion of the front housing 10. A plurality of LEDs LED1~LED5 are formed at the right and left sides of the LCD display window 30. A speaker volume 111, a speaker switch 112, an RF switch 113, a channel switch 114, a recording switch 115 and a recording reproducing switch 116 are formed at the lower bottom surface of the front housing 10.
A voice input terminal 117 and an external power source input terminal 118 are formed at the upper portion of the front housing 10. A speaker 210 is formed at the external surface of the rear housing 20, for reproducing and outputting the received voice, and fixing clips 220 are formed at both sides of the central portion of the rear housing 20.
A solar cell device 40 is fixed to the central portion of the rear housing 20 in order to have an inclination running parallel toward a front glass of the vehicle, thereby charging power source to a built-in battery.
The operation of the hand free apparatus having built-in the room mirror in accordance with the present invention will now be explained in more detail.
The hand free apparatus is connected to the voice input terminal 117 through a voice output terminal of the cellular phone H. The received voice signal of the cellular phone inputted through the voice input terminal 117 is selectively reproduced through one of the two reproducing paths.
Firstly, the voice signal can be reproduced through a self speaker 210.
The self speaker 210 is selected through the speaker switch 112. When a tuner of the vehicle is not turned on, the voice signal can be reproduced through the self speaker 210. In the case that the self speaker 210 is switched off, the voice signal is reproduced through a speaker of the vehicle.
On the other hand, the received voice signal of the other party is re-transmitted in form of an RF signal, synchronously received in the tuner of the vehicle, and then reproduced. The RF switch 113 is used to select re-transmission of the received voice.
That is, the received voice is re-transmitted through the hand free apparatus by the input of the RF switch 113.
When the re-transmission frequency is influenced by an adjacent frequency, the channel switch 114 varies the frequency by one step, thus selecting a frequency of high reception sensitivity.
The recording switch 115 records call voice in a built-in recording module, and the recording reproducing switch 116 reproduces the recorded voice.
The volume 111 adjusts a volume of the self speaker 210.
The operations of the switches 112~116 are displayed on the LEDs LED1-LED5 disposed at the front lower surface of the housing, so that the user can easily distinguish the operation status of the switches 112-116.
On the other hand, the LCD display window 30 displays time by a built-in circuit, and thus is normally used as a watch. In addition, the LCD display window 30 displays a frequency set up in channel variations. The power source of the hand free apparatus is the power source of the vehicle or battery power source using the solar cell.
When the driving power is obtained from the solar cell of the solar cell device
40, the hand free apparatus is convenient in installation. In the case that a charging amount of the battery is deficient or daytime hours are short in a using area, the hand free apparatus is supplied from power by connecting the power source of the vehicle to the external power source input terminal 118.
The hand free apparatus is built in the room mirror, and thus easily fastened to the general room mirror of the vehicle through the fixing clips 220.
The fixing clips 220 have their one side ends fixed and the other side ends elastically slid. Generally-known fixing clips may be used as the fixing clips 220, and thus explanations thereof are omitted.
By fastening the hand free apparatus to the room mirror, the user can observe the rear side of the vehicle through the reflective mirror 12 formed on the surface of the front housing 10. Moreover, the hand free apparatus provides the hand free function.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
As discussed earlier, the hand free apparatus is fastened to the room mirror, which is convenient in installation. Therefore, the hand free apparatus can be installed without causing damage of the vehicle. Even when the tuner of the vehicle is not turned on, the hand free apparatus provides the hand free function, by selectively using the self speaker and the speaker of the vehicle. In addition, the hand free apparatus easily obtains the driving power by using the solar cell, and displays the hand free function for user's convenience. As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described embodiment is not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.

Claims

What is claimed is:
1. In a hand free apparatus including a speaker for reproducing a received voice and a mike for picking up the transmitted voice, the hand free apparatus having built-in a room mirror comprising: a housing having a function as a general room mirror and built-in the hand free apparatus, the housing comprising: a front housing including a reflective mirror adhered and formed on its surface, a mike formed at a front lower side and for picking up voice, an LCD display window for displaying operations at its central portion, a plurality of LEDs formed at the left and right side of the LCD display window and for displaying operations of switches, a speaker volume, a speaker switch, an RF switch, a channel switch, a recording switch, a recording reproducing switch, which are formed at its lower bottom surface, a voice input terminal and an external power source input terminal, which are formed at its upper portion; and a rear housing including a speaker formed at its external surface and for reproducing and outputting the received voice and fixing clips formed at both sides of its central portion.
2. The hand free apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a solar cell device is fixed to the central portion of the rear housing in order to have an inclination running parallel toward a front glass of a vehicle, thereby charging power source to a battery having built-in the solar cell device.
