Abstract

The present invention is directed to providing a system and method for allowing a user to aggregate all of their contact lists. More specially, the user is provided with a single user interface allowing the user to access, edit and send messages to all of their contacts. For example, the user interface can include contacts from a variety of messaging services, including: personal desktop portal ('PDP') users, instant messaging users, e-mail addresses, cell phones, pagers, and the like. The user is able to directly access, search, edit and communicate with any of the contacts contained within the aggregated list.
