- Example 1 instead of polyoxyethylene castor oil, 3.0 g of diglyceryl oleate (manufactured by Nikko Chemical Co., Ltd., trade name: DGMO—90) was used as the polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (c). Except for the addition, 60 g of a carboxyl group-containing polymer composition as a fine white powder was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1.
- Example 1 glyceryl trioleate (manufactured by Nikko Chemical Co., Ltd., trade name: DGO-80) 3. Og was added as polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester (c) instead of polyoxyethylene castor oil. Except for that, 60 g of carboxyl group-containing polymer composition as fine white powder was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1.
- Example 2 In the same manner as in Example 1, except that 3.0 g of glycerin was added instead of polyoxyethylene castor oil, 59 g of a carboxyl group-containing polymer composition as a fine white powder was obtained.
- Example 1 59 g of a carboxyl group-containing polymer composition as a fine white powder was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that 3.0 g of hexaglycerin was added instead of polyoxyethylene castor oil. .
- the dissolution time is short in both the non-stirred state and the stirred state, and the viscosity of the obtained solution is very small.
- the viscosity of the neutralized viscous liquid obtained by neutralizing this solution is very high. It can be seen that a polymer composition containing a carboxylic acid group was obtained.
- the carboxyl group-containing polymer composition of the present invention has excellent solubility in water, it has an excellent effect that the dissolving time can be significantly reduced without using a special dissolving device. Things.
- aqueous solution obtained by dissolving the carboxyl group-containing polymer composition of the present invention in water is neutralized with a suitable base, a neutralized viscous liquid having a very high viscosity can be obtained.
- carboxyl group-containing polymer composition of the present invention can be suitably used as a thickener for various aqueous solutions.
