The now existing vehicle alarm systems, which block the vehicle electrical system and/or signalize a robbery or theft action or condition thereof, are provided with a distance blocking system that reaches a maximum radius of 20 meters or, in an optimized condition, with the aid of local repeating antennae, a maximum radius of 30,000 meters-
Such known blocking systems may be provided with a localizing system via GPS or further by means of a service telephone exchange through a computer network, controlling the transmission of signals between the vehicle and the activation device carried by the vehicle's owner-
In spite of being widely used, such conventional vehicle blocking systems and violation alarm, which are usually derived from the same technology used in the well-known "pagers", have several drawbacks, that is: poor reach of the system control signals; restrictions concerning the system operation areas and regions depending on the operation company; the non warranty of activation of the system and the non location of the vehicle after the robbery or theft.
In those cases where a GPS device is adapted to the blocking system, the vehicle can be located; however, such alternative is too costly and only justifiable in case of valuable cargo transportation fleets, thus not being feasible for personal vehicles. Another drawback of these pager-type conventional systems resides in the fact that the access between the user and the vehicle has to be carried out only by an operation company
