The present invention relates to a lighting device and a lighting method for endoscope-like systems, with an endoscope-like device, at least one light guide guided and arranged in the endoscope-like device for guiding light from at least one first light source and a second light source separated from this to a distal end of the endoscope - Gen device and with a control and monitoring device for controlling and adjusting the intensities and / or wavelengths of the individual light sources.
Endoscopic illuminations are known. In the case of known lighting devices, lamps which are arranged at the distal end of the endoscopes are supplied via electrical lines, and the space in front of the endoscopes is thus illuminated. With the development of glass fibers, the light source was moved to the outside. The image of the fluorescent frond is imaged on a glass fiber bundle that runs through to the distal end in the endoscope. In order to generate a higher light output of the known lighting devices, special high-power light sources are used, the resulting light spot of which is, however, very small, and on the other hand very high radiation temperatures are reached.

In addition to the low light expansion and the high temperatures, there is a further disadvantage of known lighting devices for endoscope-like systems in the fact that no sufficiently high contrasts can be generated. This results in further disadvantages, which result in particular from the poorer handling of these systems.

Before the strong, red remission different areas of the green and blue remission are no longer delimited by the eye because they are outshone. An increase in the green and blue components in the illuminating light increases the contrast in this spectral range, so that differently reflecting areas can be made visible here. - 7 - Example 2:
The illumination device 10 enables a color comparison via the illumination by amplifying the relevant spectral ranges. With an additional light guide (not shown) integrated in the endoscope-like device 16 or the reference light fiber 28, parts of the light scattered back from the illumination location can be collected. After a spectral analysis, e.g. B. using beam splitters and photodiodes, the lighting can be readjusted according to the spectral composition in the direction of the desired target color.

For fluorescence endoscopy, excitation light with different wavelengths can be coupled into the illumination device 10. By regulating the intensity of the different excitation wavelengths it can be achieved that fluorescence mechanisms which are present at different levels of light shine in comparable brightness and do not outshine each other. A corresponding blocking of the excitation light - if this is necessary - is carried out at a suitable point in the endoscope-like device or directly in front of the eye or the electronic evaluation unit 36.
