Abstract

The present invention relates to an arrangement for improving the utilisation of a network, especially in a company computer network comprising network facility and equipment, and for the purpose of utilising such facility and equipment in a more rational and user-friendly manner, it is according to the present invention suggested that the arrangement comprises the establishment of a specific communication channel (HotInPrint) which is arranged to co-operate/interact, on the one hand, with a Print Service System, and, on the other hand, with an arbitrary data/information system, and further comprises a Print Service System interface, a data/information system interface, as well as a user interface, said interfaces allowing selected data from said data/information system to be printed on the banner page of the printer(s) in question when print-out operation thereof is initiated.
