Abstract

The invention concerns the preparation of active products and medicines to be injected from a kit, when such preparation requires in particular a disposable syringe and auxiliary preparation receptacle. The receptacle is made in light metal, such as aluminium, highly heat conducting thereby making the receptacle very difficult to be held with bare hands when it is heated on a flame for preparing the mixture to be injected. The invention enables the use of a plastic element present in the kit as a strip for grasping the receptacle with bare hands, shaped to provide it with a safe connection, and to suck in the active product while observing the aseptic conditions required for the operation. The preparation receptacle has the shape of a crucible delimited by a rim (2) with a protruding part (4) providing a link between the receptacle (1) and a syringe adapter (5). A sleeve (9) of the syringe (8) needle (10) incorporates a filter (12) to purify the suction.

Le récipient de préparation peut comporter un rebord sur lequel peut être soudé un opercule de protection de l'eau dans le cas où l'eauThe invention relates to the field of the preparation of active products and of drugs with a view to their injection and, more specifically, when this preparation requires a syringe, an auxiliary preparation container, sterile water in the container or in a flask. For reasons of cost and ease of production, the container is formed by stamping a light metal, for example an aluminum foil. However, with this type of metal which is highly conductive of heat, gripping with bare hands is difficult to bear and causes burns when, during the preparation of the mixture to be injected, the container is heated with a flame.
Pour résoudre ce problème, diverses solutions ont déjà étéTo solve this problem, various solutions have already been
For example, the application for a French utility certificate, published under the number 2722412, recommends coating the tongue with a material that is poorly conductive of heat, or else surrounding the container with a cardboard support on which the cover is also attached. These solutions involve the installation of additional means which increase the
Cet élément s'adapte au récipient, conformé afin de lui offrir une connexion sûre, pour servir de languette de préhension à mains nues sans craindre de se brûler.30 cost of the kit by complicating the manufacture of the spoon without guaranteeing a good reduction in the risk of burns. Furthermore, even if the container is made of metal which is not or only slightly conductive of heat, such as stainless steel, the quantity of metal necessary to constitute the gripping tongue entails additional cost and bulk. In order to solve the problem mentioned, while preserving the asepsis of the container during the preparation of the active product, the invention proposes another solution, without increasing the cost of the kit or complicating the implementation of the manufacture of the container. This solution is based on the use of an element made of plastic material present in the kit, non-conductive of heat and whose interior is sterile. This element adapts to the container, shaped to provide a secure connection, to serve as a gripping tab with bare hands without fear of getting burned.
More specifically, the subject of the invention is a container for preparing medicaments and active products for their administration by injection, forming a crucible bounded by an edge. The border has a shaped projection to make a connection between the container and a syringe tip having a sterile bore, so that the asepsis of the crucible and its thermal insulation are preserved by using this tip as a gripping tab and holding the container when heating the crucible in heat-conductive metal, this heating being necessary for the solubilization of the active product.
The syringe tip can be the needle tip or the syringe plunger head tip. The invention also relates to a kit for the administration of active products and of medicaments containing a container of the special form indicated above, suitable for its connection with the tip of the syringe contained in this kit. Advantageously, the syringe is pre-filled with sterile and injectable water. In order to improve asepsis, the product to be injected is purified by an impurity filter contained in the kit. Such a purification limiting the number and size of particles aspirated into the syringe, bacterial, fungal and parasitic elements are not aspirated. This filter is mounted, for example by welding, in the tip of the syringe needle to allow direct use of the filter during the aspiration of the drug or of the active product in the body of the syringe, without having to detach the tip of the syringe needle for this filtration operation. The tip can be covered with a sterile cap to protect the filter. Such an arrangement is particularly suitable for crimped needles, but can also be used when the needle is extractable. In this embodiment, the tip of the piston head is used to serve as a means of gripping the metal crucible.

According to the invention, the plastic tip of the syringe and the container for mixing the product to be administered make it possible, by their combination produced by different types of connection, to solve the problem linked to the thermal conductivity of the material constituting the container. mixing or additional costs relating to the use of poorly conductive material. In the various exemplary embodiments illustrated, identical reference signs designate the same objects. In these examples, the preparation container has a rim, but the invention also relates to containers without rim, that is to say the edge forming the upper limit of the crucible does not have a curved portion forming a ring of peripheral material. According to a first exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the container 1 comprises a crucible 1a bounded by a rim 2, on which a cover 3 is welded, and an edge projection in the form of a protuberance 4. This protuberance 4 can be obtained during stamping when this border is calibrated by cutting. The cutting is then carried out except for a portion corresponding to the protuberance. The border can be entirely eliminated, except the portion corresponding to the projection, when it comes to obtaining a container without rim.
This protuberance is in the form of a substantially rectangular surface of predetermined width so that it can be inserted into the internal bore A of the tip 5 of the needle of the syringe (not shown) or the tip of piston. In practice, this width is, respectively, equal to or slightly greater than 4 mm or 10 mm, depending on whether the tip is that of the syringe or of the plunger. So as to be inserted easily, but in force, in this bore, the insertion is obtained by ovalization of the bore which results from manual pressure exerted on the plastic material of which the end piece is made. The length of the protrusion is to be appreciated by a person skilled in the art as a function in particular of the density of the metal used for the container, so as not to risk the loss of the container by stalling due to the mass to be supported.
Dans ce cas, l'embout 5 se trouve orienté selon un axe perpendiculaire au plan supérieur du récipient 1.The protrusion 4 can be oriented relative to the upper plane of the container 1, pressing on the surface of the rim 2, at an angle varying between approximately plus or minus 30 degrees. The angle is limited so as not to risk a disconnection between the nozzle and the container. In the example illustrated in FIG. 2, the projection is in the form of a perforated tab 4 ′, having a circular hole 6, the diameter of which is equal to the external diameter of the end piece 5, near the flange 7 of this tip. Such a collar is usually formed at the end of the tip covering the end of the needle of the syringe, the bore A of the tip thus forming a blind hole intended to protect the syringe, in particular its end. The tab 4 ′ can be oriented either substantially in a plane perpendicular to the upper plane of the container 1, or in this plane as illustrated in FIG. 3. In this case, the end piece 5 is oriented along an axis perpendicular to the upper plane of the container 1.
According to another exemplary embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the projection is formed by a substantially cylindrical surface 4 ". The projection is formed initially, in this example, by a flat surface of sufficient size for the edges 4a and 4b of this surface, once folded towards each other, form a substantially cylindrical surface, the edges 4a and 4b facing each other until defining a slot F, parallel to the axis of revolution X'X of this surface and of minimal or zero width.
The diameter of this cylindrical surface corresponds to the external diameter of the tip 5 of the syringe needle, so that, when the tip 5 is inserted into the space defined by this surface, this tip is held firmly by the 4 "cylindrical surface. The flange 7 is disposed in abutment against the circular edge of the 4" cylindrical surface disposed on the side of the container 1. It is within the capacity of those skilled in the art to adapt the known stamping techniques of so as to obtain the optimal advancement dimensions to obtain a good connection between the container and the nozzle. In particular, the formation of holes in these protuberances, or the folding of these can be obtained using known techniques. In FIG. 5, the syringe 8, fitted with its piston 8a, its tip 9 for protecting the needle 10 and its tip 11 for protecting the piston head 8b, is shown in more detail. The nozzle 9 comprises a filter 12 for filtering out impurities and a cap 13 the interior of which is sterilized to protect the nozzle which it covers. This tip is particularly suitable in the case of a syringe with a crimped needle 10 for filtering the active product dissolved and taken from the container 1. The filter is a nylon® membrane in the embodiment, with a porosity of 5 to 20 μm for good retention of impurities. Such a tip can also be used with syringes with an uncapped needle.
The solubilization of the active product is obtained by using sterile water mixed with the active product in the crucible, using the piston head 8b which is sterile, to stir the assembly aseptically for its dissolution. Then the assembly is heated under the crucible, after having placed the end piece 11 around the tongue 4 of the container, using it in the manner of a handle to prevent the user from being burned. The solubilized active product is also withdrawn, in this embodiment, in the syringe through the filter tip, once the cap from the tip of the needle 10 has been removed.
Afin de perdre le moins de produit possible, la surface du filtre 12 (figure 5) en regard de l'aiguille est avantageusement inclinée afin d'épouser au plus près la surface d'extrémité biseautée de l'aiguille 10.In order to lose as little product as possible, the surface of the filter 12 (FIG. 5) facing the needle is advantageously inclined in order to closely match the bevelled end surface of the needle 10.
The invention also relates to a kit for administering products and drugs containing in particular a mixing container, as described above, a conventional syringe equipped with needle and piston tips, an external water filtration filter. sterile. This water can be placed in a separate bottle, in the container or in the pre-filled syringe. The entire container and the filter placed in the container can advantageously be placed in a flexible sterilizable packaging. This set is intended for single use, for the prevention of infectious contaminations, and for the elimination of impurities. The invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown. For example, it is possible to provide several projections of different or identical shapes, for example as described above, along the edge of the same container, so as to be able to optimize the connection between one of these projections and any type of size of syringe tip or other adaptable element used in the preparation and injection kit.
Furthermore, the filter can be of the filtering or absorbing type. In addition, in the case where the syringe is equipped with a conventional needle tip, at least one filtering tip according to the invention can be placed in the kit, then adapted on the needle in place of the conventional tip. during the filtration operation.
