Abstract

A multilayer thermoplastic film, and packages made from the film, comprising a layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) as an oxygen barrier layer (12), a layer of a polymer or copolymer formed by the polymerization reaction with a single site catalyst blended with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) as a sealant layer (16, 18), said film having improved sealability and improved clarity compared to conventional films.
