Abstract
A renovation and stabilization process is disclosed for railway tracks with bottom ballast and non-soldered track of rails in the abutting areas of the tracks of rails. The ballast material is glued in the abutting area, at least up to the nearest sleeper, with a mixed adhesive.
Description
Verfahren zur Sanierung und Stabilisierung von Eisenbahngleisen Processes for the rehabilitation and stabilization of railway tracks
The present invention relates to a method for the rehabilitation and stabilization of railroad tracks with ballast substructure and non-welded rail track in the joint area of the rail tracks. Railway tracks of conventional design were not welded and were mainly laid on wooden railway sleepers with a ballast foundation. In the joint area of two rails, these tracks are connected with tabs which have slotted holes so that the seasonal fluctuations in the rail length in the joint area can be compensated for. As a result, the threshold in the impact area is always exposed to special loads, so that there is damage to the threshold, in particular with these thresholds, which necessitates the renovation or even the premature replacement of this threshold.
Even on welded railway tracks, these are artificially interrupted for electrical engineering reasons and electrically isolated. It is the so-called insulation joints. In this area, too, it is necessary to replant the ballast substructure frequently.
In the case of older train tracks, the joint area is generally on a wooden sleeper, which has to absorb the entire load. For this reason, railroad tracks have already been laid where the joint area lies on two wooden sleepers. In the so-called insulating joints, the joint area is always laid between two sleepers in order to avoid undesirable leakage currents.
The object of the invention is to simplify such refurbishments and, moreover, to extend the service life of the threshold or the sleepers as well as the lower house in the joint area, so that renovation and / or replacement of these sleepers is only necessary after considerably longer periods.
This problem can be solved surprisingly simply by gluing the ballast material in the joint area at least up to the respectively adjacent sleepers with a multi-component adhesive.
This bonding relieves the threshold in the joint area, since the load is at least distributed to the neighboring thresholds and the intermediate space filled with ballast. The static and dynamic load on the threshold in the impact area is thus reduced to a fraction of the conventional load.
The multicomponent adhesive is preferably applied in such a way that the components of the adhesive are spatially separated from one another at a pressure of 30 to 200 bar and brought to a mixing chamber in the mixing chamber, mixed turbulently with one another and the mixture at a pressure of 2 to 6 bar in the form of a flat, curtain-like film is laminarly applied to the ballast material. Solvent-free work is preferably carried out.
Such a method is described, for example, in WO 91/08056 by the applicant. The process can be carried out in a simple, economical and environmentally friendly manner, since pollution of the environment by solvent vapors and / or spray mist can be avoided.
. . .The two-component adhesive is applied in such a way and in such quantities that the parts of the sheet , , ,
Although they are completely wetted and adhesive bridges are formed at least at the points of contact, the cavities are not filled with the material. As a result, the porosity, permeability and elasticity of the ballast bed are retained. Nevertheless, a considerable part of the mechanical load is transferred to the respective neighboring threshold via the ballast bed bonded in this way.
The method is therefore particularly suitable for the simple and rapid refurbishment of older railway lines which still consist in particular of wooden railway sleepers with ballast substructure and a non-welded rail track. The method is also suitable for the interruptions of the track artificially created for measurement reasons, the so-called insulating joints.
Before carrying out the method according to the invention, it is advisable to re-stuff and adjust the track. After the renovation and stabilization according to the invention in the joint area of the tracks, the track as a whole can be used for a long time without further stabilization and renovation measures.
