Description

DISPOSITIF A USAGE MEDICAL UTILISANT UN VOLUME LIQUIDE POUR LA PROPAGATION D'ONDES THERAPEUTIQUES MEDICAL DEVICE USING A LIQUID VOLUME FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THERAPEUTIC WAVES
The present invention relates to a device allowing the emission of electric and / or magnetic and / or electromagnetic waves in a liquid volume for a biological application. The treatments by electric, magnetic or electromagnetic waves are currently carried out from individual devices allowing the application of only one type of emission on a receiving area. Each device having a transmission head tuned to their transmitter is limited as to the surface to be treated. All transmitting antennas are, for safety, isolated and never in complete contact with the patient, a dispersion and an attenuation of the emission appear in contact with the air existing between the transmitter and the receiver. The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks. It is essentially characterized by one or more emitters of electric and / or magnetic and / or electromagnetic waves and a liquid volume whose container made of electrically insulating material is of a shape suitable for treatment. Each generator has its emitting part either molded in the material, or in contact with the external face of the container. The action of the different transmitters used in this device is known and very commonly used in electrotherapy. The object of the present invention is to group together, through a liquid volume, the various actions of the generators present and to improve the performance by better contact with the areas to be treated.
The recommended device offers the advantage, by immersion in a liquid or by direct contact with the container of the areas to be treated, of having a simultaneous therapeutic action on the whole of the parts without dispersion or attenuation of the emission in the 'air. Several different emission generators can be used alternately or simultaneously. The liquid used then behaves as a wave conductor whatever the frequency of the emission emitted. The treated areas are completely exposed to the various therapeutic waves under conditions superior to those given by current devices. We can thus note: - The possibility of simultaneous processing of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic waves.
- Une action thérapeutique sur toutes surfaces.- The multiplicity of areas treated. - A therapeutic action on all surfaces.
To better understand the principle of this invention, we will describe embodiments thereof, it being understood that these are not limiting as to their mode of implementation and to the applications that can be made of them. - Plate 1/2: Figure 1 shows in section the treatment of a patient by immersion in water. Two different emission generators have their emitting heads (A) and (B) molded into the polyester shell (1) of the container. FIG. 2 represents in section the treatment of a patient by external contact with the container of the liquid volume. To the shell (1) made of polyester, a flexible support (2) of rubber type has been added so as to isolate any external contact from the water and to marry the treated areas as well as possible. Figures 3 and 4 show in section treatments by immersion of upper and lower limbs.
The generator is a h.f transmitter controlled by quartz giving us a rectangular signal adjustable in width, amplitude and pulsating frequency.
The pulsating frequency is selected by a switch (11) which acts on an integrated circuit (12) type 7Λ00. The signal width is obtained by a circuit (3) type 7- + 121. The high frequency is made from quartz (4) followed by an amplifier circuit. The final stage (5) groups the signal of selected width and frequency, the high frequency and coming from the switch (6) the power selection. The emission takes place in the liquid volume (7) via the antenna (8).
This circuit can be powered from the 220 v mains. followed by a voltage regulator block giving +5 and +15 v. continuous or by one or more batteries preceding the +5 and +15 v regulators.
