Abstract
The height adjustable shelf rack comprises two rails (3) intended to be secured to a wall (1) and height adjustable brackets (4) along the rails to support the shelves (5). The rack lends itself to a wooden construction. The rails (3) are provided with guiding grooves (6) having a T-shaped cross-section of which the cross bar is provided with rounded corners. The shape of said grooves correspond to the guiding profile (7) of the brackets (4). Thereby an appropriate distribution of forces is obtained and the risk of breaking or splitting wood is attenuated. Furthermore, means enable a concealed height locking of the brackets.
Description
The invention relates to a height-adjustable wall shelf with two rails which can be attached to a wall and brackets which can be height-installed therein for supporting shelves, with guide grooves provided in the rails and widening towards the wall side and the shape of the guide grooves adapted to the guide profiles on the brackets.
In a known wall shelf of this type, the guide grooves are dovetail-shaped. When the shelves are loaded, a large part of the forces that occur are transmitted via the guide profiles to the dovetail-shaped guide grooves, in particular the opposing, rearwardly widening webs of the dovetail-shaped guide groove being heavily loaded. This is particularly disadvantageous if the wall shelf is made of wood, since this material often cannot withstand the loads that occur and tears or splinters off.
To remedy this disadvantage, the invention is based on the object of creating a height-adjustable wall shelf of the type mentioned, where the distribution of forces is chosen more favorably.
To solve this problem, the invention provides that the guide groove and the guide profiles have a "T" profile with rounded corners on the crosspiece of the "T". In this embodiment, since neither the guide grooves nor the guide profiles have edges that converge at an acute angle, no pressure peaks occur, and the risk of tearing or splintering is avoided or greatly reduced.
The brackets of the known wall shelf are locked in that holes are provided in the guide groove at intervals, and the brackets have a continuous bore through which pins can be inserted from outside so that the respective end of the pin is one of the Bordering holes. The disadvantage here is that the front end, usually provided with a button, projects over the console, which disturbs the overall visual impression. In addition, there is a risk that the pin may be pulled out unintentionally, with the result that the console slips.
Es zeigen:Another part of the invention is to provide an improved console lock. For this purpose, insertable pins are provided in bores in the bottom of the guide groove, the length of which corresponds at most to the depth of the guide grooves plus the borehole depth. The lower end of the console has an area protruding from the lower end of the guide profiles. In other words, the console is provided with a notch at the lower end with which it can be pushed over the pin inserted into one of the boreholes. In this way, an invisible bracket lock is achieved, and unintentional removal of the pin is not possible. Further features and advantages of the invention are explained with reference to the embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:

The height-adjustable wall shelf according to the invention has at least two rails 3 which can be attached to a wall 1 by means of screws 2 for the height-adjustable attachment of brackets 4, on which shelf boards 5 can be placed. The rails 3 are each provided with a guide groove 6 formed continuously in the longitudinal direction, which has a "T" -shaped profile with rounded corners on the transverse web of the "T". A guide profile 7 is attached to the brackets 4, the outer profile of which corresponds to the inner profile of the guide grooves, so that the brackets 4 can be inserted into the guide grooves 6. To lock the brackets 4 at a certain height, holes 8 are provided in the bottom of the guide grooves, into which pins 9 can be inserted. The length of the pins 9 corresponds to the depth of the guide grooves 6 plus the borehole depth of the bores 8. This ensures that a pin 9 does not protrude beyond the front edge of the rail 3 in the inserted state. The lower end 10 of the brackets 4 stands down over the lower end 11 of the guide profiles so that the brackets 4 can be pushed onto the respective pin from above and bear against the pin with the lower end of the guide profile, while the lower end 10 of the console continues over the pin 9 protrudes downward. In this way you can achieve an invisible locking and prevent the pin from being pulled out unintentionally. The areas of the guide groove 6 which are not covered by the guide profile 7 of the brackets 4 can be covered by inserting cover strips 12, the profile of which corresponds to that of the guide profiles 7. The cover strips 12 reach under the brackets, whereby clean overhangs are achieved.
