citizen of the United States, residing at l/Vaoo,

When employing the instrument as ay nasal inhaler, I employ the receptacle 7 and the nozzle 4, and on the longer end of thev nozzle is provided a tip 18ct any suitable 'flexible substance having a bore 19 therein adapted to register with the bore in the nozzle 4, the tip being of sucientdiameter lto close the nasal passages and cause the air entering the nasal passages, to pass through the o enings 8 1n the end et the receptacle an by placing any suitable form of inhaling ingredients in the receptacle, the nasal passages may be readily treated and the same' ,construction is ernn` ployed as a mouth inhaler for the develop` ment and treatment `for thethroat, by re A` moving the tip 18 and inserting the longer end ofthe nozzle 4 in the mouth.

l. ln a medicating appliance of theY class described, the combination Witha bulb havin a neck and an o ening inthe neck; cfa tu ular receptacle having one of its ends closed and openings in the closed end, a cirn cular cap adapted to enter the opposite end of the receptacle, a shoulder on the cap adapted to engage the end oi" the receptacle and a nozzle extending throuvh said cap and the projecting end thereo'` a apted to enter` the opening in the bulb, said nozzle having a longitudlnal bore therethrougha 2. A medicating appliance of the class described, comprising the combination with a bulb having a neck and an opening through the neck; of a receptacle having one of 'its ends closed and openings in the nosed end, a circular cap adapted to i'lt the oppesite end of the receptacle, a nozzle ada ted to extend' 'through the opening in the bul and having a longitudinal bore, a pair oi cupfshaped mein bers and a collar connecting said cup-shaped members adapted to receive the receptacle and the neck of the bulb.
