To all 'whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. KUNTZ, of Mount Rock, Gumberland county, State of y Pennsylvania, have invented an Improved Hoisting Apparatus; and l do hereby declare the following `to be an exact description thereof, reference `being` had to the accompanying drawings, an dto the-letters of reference marked i thereon, makinga part of this specification.`

Arepresents the slide, made of Wood or metal, having three eyes, B B B, one at each end and the third near the center. The rop'e C is fastened at one end of the slide A permal nently. It is then passed up through the c enter eye `B, and from thence up and through the top eye B and upper end of the slide,I
