A rustic log is provided at the tops of the rims of the wheels and another rustic log is provided at the bottoms of the rims of the wheels. Illuminated advertising material is provided in the area bordered by the wheels and the logs. Santa Claus extends from the waist up from the top one of the logs wearing a cowboy hat on his head and a buckskin glove on a hand.
3 Claims, 2 Drawing Figures mani /mew Wllm ILLUMINATED SIGN DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an illuminated sign.
The principal object of the invention is to provide an illuminated sign of simple structure which is warm, friendly, attractive, interesting, bright and highly effective in presenting advertising material.
In order that the invention may be readily carried into effect, it will not be described with reference to the accompanying drawing, wherein:
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the illuminated sign of the invention; and
FIG. 2 is a top view of the sign of FIG. 1.
In the FIGS., the same components are identified by the same reference numerals.
The illuminated sign of the invention comprises a pair of spaced wagon wheels 1 and 2. The wheel 1 has a plurality of spokes 3, and so on, comprising elongated lighted tubes such as, for example, neon. The wheel 2 has a plurality of spokes 4,,and so on, comprising elongated lighted tubes such as, for example, neon. The spokes 3, and so on, alternate in color, as do the spokes 4, and so on.
Half the spokes 3, and so on, are a first colored light and half the spokes are a second and different colored light. Half the spokes 4, and so on, are a first colored light and half the spokes are a second and different colored light.
A rustic log 5 is provided at the tops 6 and 7 of the rims 8 and 9, respecitvely, of the wheels 1 and 2. A second rustic log 10 is provided at the bottoms l1 and 12 of the rims 8 and 9, respectively, of the wheels 1 and Illuminated advertising material 13 is provided as a sign in the area bordered by the wheels 1 and 2 and the logs 5 and 10.
Santa Claus 14 extends from the waist up from the top of the log 5. Santa Claus l4 wears a cowboy hat 15 on his head 16. Santa Claus 14 wears a buckskin glove 17 on a hand l8. Santa Claus 14 has an open illuminated eye 19.
While The invention has been described by means of specific examples and in specific embodiments, I do not wish to be limited thereto, for obvious modifications will occur to those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
I claim:
1. An illuminated sign, comprising a pair of spaced wagon wheels having a plurality of spokes comprising elongated lighted tubes;
a pair of rustic logs, one at the tops of the rims of the wheels and the other at the bottoms of said rims; illuminated advertising material in the area bordered by the wheels and the logs; and
Santa Claus extending from the waist up from the top one of the logs wearing a cowboy hat on his head and a buckskin glove on a hand' 2. An illuminated sign as claimed in claim 1, wherein Santa Claus has an open illuminated eye.
3. An illuminated sign as claimed in claim 2, wherein the lighted 'tube spokes of each wheel alternate in color, half the spokes being a first colored light and half the spokes being a second and different colored light.
Claims (3)
1. An illuminated sign, comprising A PAIR OF SPACED WAGON WHEELS HAVING A PLURALITY OF SPOKES COMPRISING ELONGATED LIGHTED TUBES; A PAIR OF RUSTIC LOGS, ONE AT THE TOPS OF THE RIMS OF THE WHEELS AND THE OTHER AT THE BOTTOMS OF SAID RIMS; ILLUMINATED ADVERTISING MATERIAL IN THE AREA BORDERED BY THE WHEELS AND THE LOGS; AND Santa Claus extending from the waist up from the top one of the logs wearing a cowboy hat on his head and a buckskin glove on a hand.
2. An illuminated sign as claimed in claim 1, wherein Santa Claus has an open illuminated eye.
3. An illuminated sign as claimed in claim 2, wherein the lighted tube spokes of each wheel alternate in color, half the spokes being a first coloRed light and half the spokes being a second and different colored light.
