Still further objects of the invention arez to providezthesealing tab with an adhesive; and to=providexthe closure flap with an adhesive surrounding-the. tear-outsportion; to provide the adhesive onthe closure flap withapaper cover member which alsocovers theitear-out-portion and to provide a device of this character. simple and efficient-inoperation.

The front face of theenvelope is provided with an indicia or number as indicated at.2l,-and a like indicia or number 22 isprinted uponlthe extension or receipt tab member 10 and on the pullout member 18 of the closure flap 8 as indicated at 23. .opens the envelope by tearing off the sealing tab 9. The film is tcmoved from the envelope and the pullout panel or identificationtag l=8tis-removedand placed, on the roll of film 27 to maintain the identity of the filmthroughout the processing period. Theflnished p'ictures arethen placed in the-same envelope, the cover'20 over the adhesivelsof the closure flap is removed, and the envelopeis closed using the adhesive 15 as a seal. The finished envelope is then returned to the receiving store ororiginatonwhereit is given to the customer whose -receipt number matches the number on the face of the envelope.
The adhesive on the closure flap 8 and the pullout section 18 isja nondrying pressure sensitive adhesive and the cover20 is ,a'release-coat; paper. The adhesive on the sealing tab 9 is a resealgum, or a ,nondrying pressure sensitive adhesive may be used.'The.pulloutsectionis located substantially centrally of thetadhesivefls on the closure 'flap 8.

It will be obvious from the foregoing that I have provided an improved envelope or container including removable identification labels or tabs for use in processing of film or the like, not heretofore utilized in this industry.

': b. an extension member removably attached to one of said flap portions having identification indicia corresponding to identification indicia printed on said envelope;
a closure flap for closing said pocket;
an identification portion of said closure flap including identification thereon corresponding to I identification printed on the envelope and said extension member, said identification portion being defined by weakened line for separation from said flap and for placement onand adherence to the material placed said envelope; and
. a removable scaling tab on said closure flap having adhesive thereon for engaging oiie of said panels for closing said opening. The combination of claim 1 including:
. adhesive on said closure flap for securing said flap in position closing said opening to said pocket;
. a removablepaper cover for said adhesive; and
the identification portion having adhesive thereon and the removablepaper'cover extending over adhesive on the identification portion and permitting the removal of the identification portion while said cover is in place.
