(Cl. 3ll2-198) In an article of manufacture, this invention shows a new, novel and useful improvement being obtained by planning a design of a formation of a shelf means useable for periodically holding a foreign object removably placed thereon, which can be constructed and overall angularly recessed, for forming a bottom, a rear and side wall portions thereof, into an adjoining outside portion of a top and a side portion of a hereinafter stated enclosure of this invention when it is constructed, so that it can be used as a shelf located on the outside thereof, and so that a new aesthetical impression is mentally created by its said angularly shaped appearance alone breaking otherwise angularly proceeding lines of said enclosure, and by the appearance of both of them, and by the appearance of each of a plurality of said shelves being combined with each of a plurality of enclosures operationally stationed one after another, and one spaced apart from another along a line and thereby forming a new and pleasantly appearing of broken perspective lines.

An exterior construction of an enclosure which is meant is obtained by constructing an exterior construction thereof so that at least it comprises a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion, and an opening formed through a suitable portion of said exterior construction and leading to an interior leakproof compartment, said opening comprising a door associated therewith for suitably openably closing it, and said interior leakproof compartment comprising a top portion which is an inside of a said top portion of said exterior construction surrounding and proceeding from its said opening to and along in side portions of said side portions of said exterior construction, each of which proceeding into a neighboring wall thereof, and each of which proceeding into a bottom blank wall, thereby an interior of said interior compartment is separated from any shelf being made in said enclosure, and thereby also it is located within said enclosure so that a washing machine or a drying machine can be suitably installed therein, and used for partly laundering piles of wettable and dryable clothing removably entered therewith for being laundered.

Said modifications include a separate shelf being attachable to a part of an article, such as an enclosure using a means being specified as being self-adhering.

A first shelf means is shown herein having a handle means formed in a part thereof being useable for sliding it in and out of a compartment means for it constructed in a part of an enclosure. Said shelf can be attached, using means in a compartment for it so that it cannot fully emerge therefrom, and it can be unattached therein so that it can fully emerge therefrom.

A modified second shelf means is shown being pivotally attached, using means in a formation for same constructed in an enclosure being openable by moving its top outwardly and downwardly to an opened position, being closeable in a reverse action.

A modified third shelf means formation formed in a part in a construction of an enclosure can have a size so that a moveable shelf part of another nearby enclosure can be removably placed thereon. Also, such a shelf formation can have a size which can be used for holding one to a plurality of objects other than a part of a shelf.

A modified separate fourth shelf having a means having a property on both sides thereof for being self-adhering attached to a selected part at each end thereof, using one side, and being attachable to a formed part of two spaced apart enclosures, using the other side thereof, thereby providing a very strong shelf being located between said enclosures in a space not used heretofore.

I am showing more than one shelf constructed in an enclosure for illustration purposes, it being understood that one to a plurality of same can be a part thereof.

A purpose of the invention is to provide a moveable shelf part in a construction of an enclosure being easily made ready and useable for holding one to a plurality of objects, and which can be placed out of the way when not being used.

Another purpose is to provide a stationary shelf formation in a construction of an individual enclosure.

Another purpose is to provide a shelf in a space between a first enclosure and a second enclosure in an operation containing a plurality of same, by attaching an end of a shelf to a part of each.

I do not limit the scope of the claims of the invention in any way, it being easy to understand that many modifications of the illustrated and described figures and working parts can be made. An enclosure and a shelf part thereof can be any size, type and shape, and it can be located in any suitable part of the enclosure, using any means being suitable, when attaching it thereat.

Each enclosure having a shelf, as above said, can be constructed using what is known in the market as being standard material for same.

In the drawings accompanying this specification in which like parts are designated by like numerals, an in vention and a modification thereof is shown in an operational state.

FIGURE 1 shows a perspective view of two positionally arranged enclosures, each showing a first and a second shelf moveably attached in its portion and a formation of a stationary third shelf in its portion thereof, said first shelf formed in each having a handle formed therein and being in an openably closed position, said second shelf formed in enclosure 1 being in a closeably opened position and being removably placed onto an example of a said third shelf formation in a second enclosure, said second shelf in said enclosure 1a being in an openably closed position, each said shelf being us-eably located in a suitably spaced relationship with a door attached with a portion of an enclosure for openably closing its opening and with said opening formed through a portion thereof and leading into a described interior compartment located therein. Referring to enclosure 1 while imaginatively understanding that it is being used by itself, that is, without there being an enclosure 1a present. When said shelf 21 is closeably opened as shown, it can be used as a shelf by itself, as its back portion 64 is revealed and positioned so that a foreign object can be removably placed thereon. It is held in shown closeably opened position by said means for forming a pivotal attachment attached therewith and with a portion of its formation 24, and by a bottom portion of its said front 65 which removably lays on top of a disposed portion of said unseen bottom portion 6 of its formation 24, said bottom portion 6 being exampled in formation 22 of enclosure 1a, and also being shown in FIGURE 7.

Description FIGURE 1 shows a view of two similar enclosures 1 and 1a, one being considered as being suitably spaced apart from another, and each comprising an exterior construction 31 comprised of a top portion 60 and side portions 26, 25, 61 and 62, and a bottom portion 63 shown developing into leg portions 70. Each hereinafter described shelf is located in a suitable spaced relationship with a door 2 suitably hingedly attached with an unseen portion of said exterior construction 31 bordering an opening 2a formed through a suitable portion thereof, said door 2 being used for openably closing said opening 2a, and each being locateable in any other suitable portion thereof too, whenever such is desired. And each hereinafter described shelf is located in a suitable spaced relationship with said door 2 and its said opening 2a for hereinafter stated series of steps purposes.

Said interior leakproof compartment comprises an inside top portion 60a which is an inside top portion 60a of said exterior construction top portion 60 surrounding and proceeding from said opening 2a. Said proceeding inside top portion 60a proceeding into four neighborly side walls 20a, 25a, 61 and 62, each of which proceeds into its neighbor, and all four of which proceed into a bottom blank wall 1%, thereby forming said leakproof compartment disposed for being used as such, and for being changed to suit a purpose for doing this. Two of said inside four side walls being inside portions of said exterior side portions 61 and 62 of said exterior construction, and the two remaining side walls 20a and 25a being inside portions of said exterior side portions 20 and 25 which as can be seen are constructed so that each comprises a greater thickness than said side portions 61 and 62 thereby providing a thickness of a wall which is suitably changed when a hereinafter described formation useable as a stationary shelf is formed and recessed therein, such as formations 22 and 24. Thereby an interior of said interior compartment is separated from a construction which is made and used for comprising any of an enclosures shelves, and it is disposed for being used in a planning for installing a washing or a drying machine within said enclosure.

It is easy to understand that above stated thickness of the material located between sides 20 and 20a and between 25 and 25a respectively can proceed downwardly for any desirable distance and even end at the bottom of suitably sized leg portions 70, and that said thickness thereof can end just about where said blank bottom portion 19a of said interior is formed, and the remainder thereof extending downwardly can have a thickness such as is shown where a portion of exterior construction 31 is broken away for showing a bottom portion of a separate interior construction 31) attachedly located therein, shown in enclosure 1, and hereinafter described in FIGURES 5 and 6.

And FIGURE 1, in enclosures 1 and 1a, shows a said stationary shelf formation comprising numerals 22 and 24, and referring to formation 24 shown formed in on closure I mostly as an example of each of them, it comprises an unseen bottom portion 6 which proceeds angularly away from said side 26 of enclosure 1 and an example of which can be seen in said enclosure 1a formation 22, and a useable rear 6a and useable side portions 61) which suitably proceed angularly away from each other and from said unseen bottom portion 6 and angularly into said top portion 60 of enclosure 1, thereby recessively and angularly breaking into usual otherwise angularly meeting lines of said side 21 and top 66 portions and thereby mentally creating said new pleasant impression. Said exampled formation 24 is useably constructed so that it is located in a suitable spaced relationship with said door 2 for openably closing opening 2a, and with opening 2a itself, so that one to a plurality of foreign objects, not needed in a construction of a said enclosure 1 and of a said formation 24, can be removably placed on said bottom portion 6 and against a said rear portion 6a and a said side portion 6b thereof, for thereby comprising a first step in a series of steps which at least comprises a new mode of operation, and as a second step, opening said door 2, and as a third step, a said shelved foreign object can be placeably removed therefrom and removably placed through said opening 2:: leading interiorly into its compartment and said door 2 can be openably closed, and as a fourth step, said door 2 can be closeably opened and a said foreign object can be removed through said opening 2a, and removably placed onto said exampled formation 24, as above stated, and these said steps more or less apply to other'shelves being shown when they are useably positioned. When viewing FIG- URE 1 and its enclosures 1 and 1a, as a plurality thereof in an operation comprising more than one, said pleasant mentally created new impression is increased by the perspective appearance of the lines of one spaced apart from another in a known line of them, and by said break in the usual lines of each of them by the said angularly formed formation 24. Referring to enclosure 1, a construction of a separate shelf 21 is shown comprising a size so that basically it is fitted into and pivotally attached in said exampled formation 24 by using means for doing this, said attachment being shown in FIGURE 7. When such is performed, formation 24 no longer can be a stationary shelf by itself. And instant shelf 21 comprises a front 65 and a back 64 portion and side portions 67 all of which proceeding into a bottom portion 66 and into a top portion 41. Referring to enclosure 1a, one can see that when shelf 21 is openably closed said top portion 41 is located a suitable distance above said top portion 60 of enclosure in for providing a handleable portion useable for pivotally moving it into its said closed position, and again for pivotally moving it into its closeably opened position, as shown in enclosure 1.

Referring to enclosure 1a again, a portion of said back portion 64 thereof suitably lays against a said vertical rear 6a portion of formation 24 when shelf 21 is openably closed.

And FIGURE 1 shows that enclosures 1 and 1a are examples of a line up of a plurality of enclosures, one being suitably spaced apart from another, so that a formation 24 formed in enclosure 1 is suitably spaced apart from while facing formation 22 formed in enclosure 1a, so that when a said shelf 21 is pivotally attached with formation 24 and its handle portion is handled for pivotally moving it into a closeably opened position, a top portion of its said front portion 65 can be removably laid on top of a bottom portion 6 of formation 22, thereby it becomes a useable shelf located in said space between said spaced apart enclosures 1 and 1a, the latter being suitably revealingly broken away.

And FIGURE 1 also shows enclosures 1 and 1a show an end portion of an openably closed shelf 3 is contained therein comprising a portion thereof cut away forming a.

handle 4 being useable for sliding it in and out of a compartment in which it is contained and attached, being shown in FIGURES 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 which are hereinafter described.

And FIGURE 1 also shows that said enclosures 1 and In each comprise an openably closed shelf 3 compartmented therein comprising a portion thereof cut away forming a handle 4 being useable for slidingit in and out of a compartment in which it is contained, being shown in detail in FIGURES 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, which follow.

FIGURE 2 shows a view of a top of shelf 3 having a handle 4 formed in a front bottom portion thereof, and showing a part 7 being attached to shelf 3 using screw 9 means in screwholes 8 means, said handle 4 and part 7 being shown and described in FIGURE 6.

FIGURE 3 shows part 7 being detached from the top of shelf 3 and showing screws 9 being ready for being attached in alignable screwholes 8 formed in part 7 and shelf 3 when they are placed together for being attached together.

FIGURE 4 shows a view of a bottom portion of shelf 3 showing handle 4 being cut away therein and being angularly shaped. A portion extending interiorly from handle 4 is cut away providing space in which fingers can move without being injured when seeking to grasp handle 4 for the purpose of using it for sliding shelf 3 in and out of its compartment, as shown in FIGURE 6.

FIGURE 5 shows a view of the section of enclosure 1 in FIGURE 1 denoted by a numeral 5 at the ends of a broken line and the arrows indicating the direction taken, showing an outer covering 31 being broken away to reveal an inner construction 30 being used so that a compartment 10 can be made, being partly constructed herein, each of the opposite sides of part 13 being attached beneath and to parts 14 and 15, using screwholes 8 being formed where needed and screws 9 being attached therein; a similar appearance of said attachment being shown in FIGURE 6, where a part 12, being similar to part 13, is similarly attached to and atop both said parts 14 and 15. Said parts 14 and being attached to both walls 13 of said compartment, using said means.

FIGURE 6 shows the view shown in FIGURE 5 and shows compartment 11'} in a completed state. Shelf 3, having a part 7 at its top, as shown in FIGURE 2, has been placed on top of part 13 and between parts 14 and 15. A part 12 having an opening 11 formed therein so that part 7 of shelf 3, being complementary to it, can slide to and fro therein, is placed on top of parts 14 and 15 and attached thereto, using said means.

Shelf 3 is now operable by using handle 4 for sliding it in and out of compartment 10, its outward movement being stopped when part 7 thereof located in said opening 11 reaches a front end thereof, as shown, and being stopped in its inward movement by the back part of compartment 10. When part 7 is not used, said shelf can fully emerge from its compartment, at which time said opening 11 formed through part 12 will not be necessary.

FIGURE 7 shows a face view of a section of enclosure 1a shown in FIGURE 1 broken away from being contained within the box of broken lines having the numeral 7 lined therefrom, and in which a portion of wall located between and 20a is shown having an outer portion of the material used in constructing it broken away, and not being used herein, for showing an attachment forming usage of an inside portion thereof forming into a bottom portion of said side 6b and bottom 6 portions of formation 24, and also in which a portion of shelf 21 is shown comprising a same breaking away of an outer portion of the material used for constructing it for showing an attach ment forming usage of an inside side portion thereof.

Said section can be applied to the section containing the opposite side of formation 24 and shelf 21 located at the opposite side of enclosure 1a having the same attachment forming details oppositely arranged therein, and said section and said application of it is applicable to same concerned with formation 24 and its pivotally attached separate shelf 21 shown in enclosure 1.

A side elevational and a partly cross sectional view of attachment forming parts being used is shown.

An opening 26 comprising a sidewardly positioned T square shape is suitably formed horizontally into a bottom portion of a side 6b of formation 24 to an end portion 73 of itself, and screwholes 8 formed into suitable portions of each side of top bar of said T square.

And a same shaped opening 27 suitably formed horizontally into a suitable bottom portion of a side edge portion 67 of shelf 21, and screwholes 8 formed into suitable portions at each side of its top bar.

Said openings 26 and 27 facing each other.

A T square shaped housing 72 first part of a first means for forming a pivotal attachment comprising a circularly shaped opening 29 formed through a center area of its top bar and therethrough and ending at a rear end portion 34 thereof, and comprising an elemental portion 23 forming away from each of two opposite sides of said opening 29 through each of which a screwhole 3 is formed. Said housing 72 in its overall size being cornplernentary to and for being fitted suitably into said open ing 26, as shown, so that their said screwholes 8 align for using screws 9 therein for attaching them together, so that there is a suitable useable space portion existing be tween said rear 73 of opening 26 and a rear 34 of housing 72. Said housing 72 when being attached compris ing a circularly shaped opening 35 formed through its said rear 34- portion and a spring 33 comprised of circularly shaped coils comprising an outside size for suitably and slidingly fitting into and adjacent to surfaces surrounding opening 29 and being approximately a half a length size thereof, its coils forming a circularly shaped opening between them along a length thereof. And a circularly shaped bolt like plunger 28 part comprising a length approximately one-half of a length size of opening 29 and having an opening 32 formed through a portion of a center area near a front end thereof as shown, is suitably fitted into spring 33, said opening and a portion of an end coil 33a turned and penetrated through nearby said opening 32 and thereby being attached therein by its coiling force, and a portion of its opposite end coil 33!) turned and penetrated through said opening 35 and similarly attached therewith while a portion of said end 3311 remains in said space between its rear 34 and rear 73 of opening 26. Thereby a part of said plunger 28 is springily held in opening 29 and while a part thereof is emerged therefrom and being moveably held in this position by spring 33. Said opening 29, and plunger 28 being relatively sized so that the protruding end thereof can be pressed therein so that it becomes parallel with the sides of housing 72 while the opposite end travels through the center of said coils of spring 33 approximately to housing 72 end portion 34. Spring 33 being broken away in a center portion for revealing the inside rear end 28a of plunger 28 therein when its other end is springily held outside of opening 29 and in its pivotal attachment forming position with hereinafter said housing 71 opening 29a.

A T square shaped housing 71 of said means for forming a pivotal attachment, being smaller in size than said first part 72, and comprising a circularly shaped opening 29a formed through a center area of its top bar and horizontally therein to a rear thereof, and comprising an element portion 36 forming away from each of two opposite sides of opening 29a through each of which 21 disposed screwhole 8 is formed. Said housing 71 in its overall size being complementary to said opening 27 formed in said shelf 21 for being suitably fitted therein as shown, so, that their said screwholes 8 align, for using screws 9 therein, for attaching them together. A depth size of opening 29a is approximately equal to a size of said end of plunger 28 extending from its housing '72, as shown. A thickness of a material of a shelf 21 should be suitable for being used as said. When a shelf is to be pivotally attached with each side of a formation 24, an end of a plunger 28 located at each side of formation 24 is pressed into its opening 29 so that shelf 21 is placed therein so that openings 29a formed in part 27 at each side thereof become parallel with said pressed plungers 28 which then are released so that each can enter into its own opening 29a.

It is shown that an outside front 65 edge portion of bottom 66 of shelf 21 can comprise a rounded off shape formed by using known means for doing this, rather than an angular shape, so that it can be situated closer to said bottom portion 6 of formation 24 when it is horizontally inoperably positioned, and when it is operably pivotally moved.

When any part stated as being used herein is made by using a metal being suitably fuseable with metal used for making another part used herein, a welding means can be used for fusing them suitably together.

FIGURE 8 shows a cut away view of two enclosures 37 and 37a being arranged in positions one near another so that there is a space between them, each having a door 2 arranged in a top portion thereof being closeably openable so that a machine installed therein can be used. A part of each enclosure being broken away to reveal a formation 39 in each, into each of which an end portion of a separate shelf 38 is shown attached, using said screw 9 means in screwholes 8 formed Where needed, thusly providing a shelf 38 in said space between them.

FIGURE 9 shows a said separate shelf 38a in an upside down position, showing the bottom thereof having a means for forming an attachment, being a self adhering material 40, being adheringly attached to a portion at each end thereof. Said shelf 380, when being right side up, can be placed into said formations 39 formed in enclosures 37 and 37a so that said self adhering material 40 attached at each end of the bottom thereof can become adheringly attached therein, using the free side of said material 40, thusly both sides of said material 40 are self adhering.

I claim:

1. In an article of manufacture, an enclosure comprising a new mode of an exterior construction thereof com prising at least a top portion, sides portions, and a bottom portion, and an opening formed through a suitable portion of said exterior construction and leading into an interior compartment which is useable so that an installation of a laundry machine containing a part which is useable for agitating disordered piles of water soaked clothing deposited therewith, can be suitably made therein, and a door hingedly attached with a portion of said top portion of said exterior construction bordering said opening and used for openably closing it, and a formation formed and recessed into an adjoining portion of said top portion and a side portion thereof comprising a horizontally positioned bottom portion proceeding into its vertical sides portions and a vertical rear portion simultaneously comprising a shelf angularly formed in its overall into the outside of said enclosure, which is useable by itself for periodically holding one to a plurality of suitable foreign objects removably placed on said bottom portion thereof, one after another, and a plurality in a group, and whenever such is suitable, simultaneously against a portion of a said vertical side portion, and against its said vertical rear portion too, and said shelf formation being purposely constructed so that it is located in a suitable spaced relationship with said door for opening said opening so that a new mode of operation is obtained, as it is used in a series of steps with them in a manner as above stated as a first step, and as a second step opening said door, and as a third step a said shelved foreign object is removed therefrom and placed through said opening leading into said interior compartment and said door is closed, and as a fourth step said door is opened and a said foreign object is removed through said opening and placed onto said shelf, and a said foreign object being also unnecessary when a said enclosure and a said formation is constructed, and aesthetically speaking while referring to the art involved, one is pleasantly affected by an appearance of the straight lines of an enclosure being broken and thereby improved by the new and novel design of the overall angularly and suitably symmetrically formed lines of a formation formed therein, and in an appended claim a further de' velopment of this formation is stated and said pleasant affectivity is increased by the perspective appearance of the lines of one after another of said enclosures, and the said formations formed in each, as each enclosure is spaced apart from another in a line of them which is known, and a said formation in itself comprises a new and novel design aesthetical improvement in its art because its sides portions render a marked impression as they angularly proceed into other lines thereof, and into lines of said enclosure.

2. In an article of manufacture, an enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof comprising a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion, and a suitably sized L shaped formation having sides formed interiorly into a suitable portion thereof, a separate shelf being constructed so that it has a size so that a bottom side portion thereof is used in a pivotal attachment with a complementary bottom side portion of said formation so that it moveably fits therewith for being raiseably lowered, and so that when it is in a closed vertical position a top portion thereof extends above a said top portion of said enclosure and is ready for being a handle which is grasped by using a part of a hand which is used for pivotally moving it to a raiseably lowerd horizontal position in which it is a stationary shelf in which position a bottom portion thereof is removably laid onto a disposed 'bottom portion of said formation which is used for holding it in said shelf position, first means for forming a suitable attachment being formed into said bottom side portion of said shelf and said formation and being disposed for having means for pivotally attaching one with the other attached therewith, means for forming a pivotal attachment.

3. In an article of manufacture, an enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof comprising a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion, and a suitably sized and disposed first opening formed through a selected portion of a said side portion thereof, as an element for covering a described and illustrated corresponding structure, a first means comprising a separate interior construction for said enclosure having an outside size being used for suitably encasing it within and attaching it with a lower portion of said exterior construction, said first means having a horizontally positioned compartment second opening formed through a portion thereof, which; has a size relative to said first opening formed through a said selected portion of a side of said exterior construction, so that said first and second openings align, and which; is disposed for having a separate shelf slideably encased therein when it is in a closed position, except for an outside end thereof which is free and approximately aligned with an outside surface of said exterior construction, said shelf having a finger graspable handle formed interiorly from a portion of said outside end thereof into a portion thereof, which is used for slideably moving said shelf through said aligned openings: outwardly for providing a suitable portion thereof as an object holding closeably opened horizontally positioned shelf on the outside of said enclosure: and inwardly to a said openably closed encased position, a second means for forming an attachment.

In an article of manufacture, an enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof having a top por- 9 tion, side portions and a bottom portion, and a suitably sized and disposed first opening formed through a selected portion of a side thereof, as an element for covering a described and illustrated corresponding structure, a first means comprising a separate interior construction for said enclosure, said means having a horizontally positioned second opening formed in a portion therein being relative in size when compared with said first opening and being disposed for having a separate shelf, when it is in a closed position, moveably encased therein except for an outside end portion thereof, which can be free and protruding from ends of said first means surrounding said second opening, said first means being suitably used for being encased within and attached with a lower portion of said exterior construction, while having said shelf closed therein, for aligning said first and second openings and so that said outside end portion of said shelf remains free and approximately aligned with an outside surface of said exterior construction, said first means having a disposed element being used for meeting and stopping a forward movement of an equally disposed member attached with a portion of said shelf for doing this; thereby partly imprisoning a part of said shelf within said second opening, said shelf having a finger graspable handle interiorly formed into a portion thereof from said outside free end portion thereof, which is used for moving it outwardly and inwardly through said aligned openings, and for slideably moving a non-imprisoned part of it outwardly to an object holding closeably opened shelf position outside of said exterior construction, a second means for forming an attachment.

5. In an article of manufacture, an enclosure in an operation comprising a plurality of neighborly enclosures in which a first is stationed adjacent to a second so that there is a space between them, each said enclosure comprising a suitably formed exterior construction thereof comprising a top portion, and side portions, and a bottom portion, an L shaped formation being formed interiorly into a portion of an adjoining said top and side portions of a first and a second neighborly enclosure so that a formation in one faces same in another, and each said formation being prepared with a forming of a screwhole therein, a separate shelf being constructed: so that it has a size so that a portion adjacent to each of the opposite sides thereof fits into a said L shaped formation formed in a said portion of a said first and second neighborly enclosure, and: so that a screwhole is formed through each of its said side portions which are aligned with same formed in a portion of a said L shaped formation, a screw for being suitably driven through a pair of said aligned screwholes at each said placed side of said shelf for forming a permanent attachment of a said shelf with a said first and second enclosure, and thereby providing a shelf across said space between them, means for forming an attachment.

In an article of manufacture, an enclosure in an operation comprising a plurality of neighborly enclosures in which a first is spaced apart from a second, each said enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof comprising a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion, said exterior construction of a said first enclosure comprising a suitably sized L shaped formation having sides formed interiorly into a suitable portion of an adjoining said top and side portions thereof, an L shaped shelf formed interiorly into a similar portion of a second enclosure, which faces said L shaped formation of said first enclosure, a separate shelf being constructed so that it has a size so that a 'bottomside portion thereof is used in a pivotal attachment with a complementary bottom side portion of said L shaped formation so that it moveably fits therewith for being raiseably lowered, and so that when it is in a vertical raised position, atop portion thereof extends above a said top portion of said enclosure and is ready for being a handle which is grasped by using a part of a hand which pivotally moves it to a raiseably lowered horizontal position in which it is a stationary shelf, in which position a bottom portion thereof is removably laid onto a disposed bottom portion of said L shaped formation with which it is attached which is used for holding it in said shelf position, while a part of a top portion thereof is removably placed upon a portion of a horizontal part of said L shaped shelf formation in a portion of said second enclosure which faces it, thereby providing a shelf in a space between said first and second enclosures, means for forming a suitable attachment being formed in a said bottom side portion of said shelf and formation and being disposed for having means for pivotally attaching one with the other attached therewith, means for forming a pivotal attachment.

7. In an article of manufacture, an enclosure in an operation comprising a plurality of said enclosures in which a first is stationed adjacent to a second so that there is a space between them, each enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof comprising a top portion, side portions and a bottom portion, an L shaped formation having three side portions and a bottom portion being interiorly formed into a portion of an adjoining said top and side portions of a first and a second neighborly enclosure so that a said formation in one faces same in another, a means being used in a strip form and being self adhering on both sides thereof, a construction of a one piece separate shelf having a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion, and having a size so that a portion adjacent to each of the opposite sides thereof is placed atop said bottom and between said side portions of a said L shaped formation formed in a side portion of a said first and second neighborly enclosure, so that a portion between said sides of said shelf is useably located in said space between them, one side of a strip of said means being self adheringly attached with a said portion adjacent to each of the opposite sides of a bottom portion of said shelf which then is placed into said L shaped formations as said, so that a free side of said means is self adhered with a said top portion thereof thereby providing a said top portion of said shelf for being used as such.

In an article of manufacture, a separate shelf comprising an exterior top and bottom flat surface, each proceeding into its edges located at each side and at a front and at a back thereof, and com-prising at least a first side border portion comprising a size approximately the same as a size of an opposite second side border portion thereof, each side border portion proceeding from said front to back edge thereof and each being separated from the other by a selected size of a central area length thereof, and a means for forming an attachment being used in a strip form comprising two opposite faces and comprising an ability for being used for being self adheringly atrate shelf, in a combination with, a first enclosure being suitably spaced apart from a second enclosure and each said enclosure at least comprising a top and sides portions, and said first and second enclosures each comprising a formation formed and recessed into a selected adjoining portion of its said top portion and a side portion thereof comprising a bottom horizontal portion proceeding into its vertical sides and back portions, and said first enclosures said formation facing said second enclosures said formation, and each said formation comprissize of a said side border portion of said shelf combined with its said strip means, and suitable portions of said side, front and back edges of said separate shelf being suitably grasped and while having its said bottom flat surface facing downwardly suitably placing each said first and second side border portions into a first formation and into a second formation facing said first, so that a said strip means is adhered to a said bottom horizontal portion thereof and said shelfs edges suitably fit adjacent to said vertical and back portions thereof, thereby providing a said top fiat surface thereof as a shelf aligned with said top portion of said first and second enclosures and useably located across said unused space between them which is related in its size with a said selected central area length of said shelf and thereby each said strip means is practically and protectively concealed between them, a said enclosure which is particularly meant is a type which is used in an operation containing a plurality of same and which are found in a known laundry shop, and in each one of which a laundering machine is installed for being used for partly laundering piles of water soaked and driable porous clothing deposited therewith by using known cleaning means for doing it.

In an article of manufacture, an enclosure comprising an exterior construction thereof comprising at least a top portion proceeding into sides portions, and a bottom portion, and an opening formed through a suitable portion of said exterior construction and leading into a disposed interior leakproof compartment which comprises a top portion which is an inside top portion of said exterior construction surrounding and proceeding from said opening to and suitably along inside portions of its said sides portions, each of which proceeds into a neighbor Wall and each of which proceeds into a bottom blank wall located approximately in a central area portion of said exterior construction and said enclosure, said leakproof interior compartment is disposed for having a laundering machine installed therewith, and said opening is disposed so that piles of disordered wettable and driable porous clothing and laundering means for partly laundering them can be removably entered therethrough, for being laundered by an installed laundering machine,

IN AN ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE, AN ENCLOSURE COMPRISING AN EXTERIOR CONSTRUCTION THEREOF COMPRISING A TOP PORTION, SIDE PORTIONS, AND A BOTTOM PORTION, AND A SUITABLY SIZED L SHAPED FORMATION HAVING SIDES FORMED INTERIORLY INTO A SUITABLE PORTION THEREOF, A SEPARATE SHELF BEING CONSTRUCTED SO THAT IT HAS A SIZE SO THAT A BOTTOM SIDE PORTION THEREOF IS USED IN A PIVOTAL ATTACHMENT WITH A COMPLEMENTARY BOTTOM SIDE PORTION OF SAID FORMATION SO THAT IT MOVEABLY FITS THEREWITH FOR BEING RAISEABLY LOWERED, AND SO THAT WHEN IT IS IN A CLOSED VERTICAL POSITION A TOP PORTION THEREOF EXTENDS ABOVE A SAID TOP PORTION OF SAID ENCLOSURE AND IS READY FOR BEING A HANDLE WHICH IS GRASPED BY USING A PART OF A HAND WHICH IS USED FOR PIVOTALLY MOVING IT TO A RAISEABLY LOWERED HORIZONTAL POSITION IN WHICH IT IS A STATIONARY SHELF IN WHICH POSITION A BOTTOM PORTION THEREOF IS REMOVABLY LAID ONTO A DISPOSED BOTTOM PORTION OF SAID FORMATION WHICH IS USED FOR HOLDING IT IN SAID SHELF POSITION, FIRST MEANS FOR FORMING A SUITABLE ATTACHMENT BEING FORMED INTO SAID BOTTOM SIDE PORTION OF SAID SHELF AND SAID FORMATION AND BEING DISPOSED FOR HAVING MEANS FOR PIVOTALLY ATTACHING ONE WITH THE OTHER ATTACHED THEREWITH, MEANS FOR FORMING A PIVOTAL ATTACHMENT.
