FAN ATTACHMENT FOR THRESHINGr-MACHINES.
Specification of Letters Patent No. 31,825, dated March 26, 1861.
To all 'whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, XV. C. RENTGEN and P. H. HUMES, both of Keolrulr, in the county of Lee and State of Iowa, have invented a new and useful Fan Attachment for Threshing-Machines; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a side sectional view of our invention taken in the line a2, a', Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a plan or top view of the same.

The object of this invention is to prevent dust being blown from threshing-machines into the face of the feeder or attendantv while feeding the machine, a result due to the blast generated by the rotation of the it is ejected from the beater-box, and` force it in a direction from the feeder or attendant.
