IMPROVEMENT lN SUBSOIL PLOWS.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 31,108, dated January 15, 1 861.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it remembered that I, JOSHUA F. GAM- ERON, of Livingston county, and State of Missouri,hafve invented a new and Improved Subsoil Plow; and I do hereby declare that the following is afull and exact description thereof, reference beinghad to the accompanyin g drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.

The nature of my invention consists principally in the superior formation of the moldboard and the principle of its working on the standard, which can be lowered or raised by means of holes through the standard F, receiving the screw H through the beam and brace G from standard to beam inserted in eye-screw K, which enables the plowman to run deep 01 shallow by regulating clevis Y X, and by lowering or raising the rotary colter B the depth can be regulated to operate with ease to the plowman and team. The cutter D attaches to the point of mold-board at lower end, and at the upper end connects with the standard F by means of clevis T, fastened with the wedge Z, so constructed that the cutter can be lowered or,'raised,and the mold-board can be-readily taken oft by means of screws I II, and the mold-board, standard, and cutter can be readily taken apart by means of drawing screw H and bending the wedges.

What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

Beam A, its clevis fand Y, rotary colter B, standard F, cutter D, with its clevis T, wedge Z, brace 0, book K, and mold-board E, when these several devices are constructed and ar- 7 ranged in the manner and for the purpose herein set forth.
