  • FIG. 5 is a cutaway view of a suction nozzle cover of a third embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 6 is a cutaway view of a suction nozzle cover of a fourth embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • To make the technical feature, objective and effect of the present invention be understood more clearly, now the specific implementation of the present invention is described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, a state when a suction nozzle cover of a typical electronic cigarette is pressed and/or squeezed by an external force is illustrated. Because an end of the existing suction nozzle cover is a flat surface, when the two outer sides of the suction nozzle cover are pressed and/or squeezed by an radial force and the radial force is perpendicular to the outer sleeve of the typical electronic cigarette, the suction nozzle generates an outward tendency of motion along the axial direction (i.e., the direction of escaping from the outer sleeve), then the suction nozzle may fall off from the electronic cigarette, resulting in that the electronic cigarette cannot be sucked by a user, and the user's experience may be adversely affected.
  • As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, an electronic cigarette of a first embodiment of the present invention comprises an outer sleeve 10 and a suction nozzle cover 20. Wherein the outer sleeve 10 is substantially a hollow cylinder, the suction nozzle cover 20 is sleeved inside the outer sleeve 10, and the outer sleeve 10 and the suction nozzle cover 20 are detachably connected with each other or integrally formed. The outer sleeve 10 can be a sleeve of an atomizer or a battery, or a sleeve that sleeves both the atomizer and the battery. The outer sleeve 10 can also be a part of the atomizer.
  • The suction nozzle cover 20 is substantially a hollow cylinder, and is made of silicone material, which has good flexibility and corrosion-resistant character. Understandably, the suction nozzle cover 20 can also be made of other flexible material such as rubber. A surface of the suction nozzle cover 20 corresponding to a mouth cavity of a user of the electronic cigarette is a concave 230. When the two outer sides of the suction nozzle cover 20 are pressed and/or squeezed by an radial force and the radial force is perpendicular to the outer sleeve 10, the suction nozzle 20 generates an inward tendency of motion along the axial direction (i.e., the direction towards inside body), and the suction nozzle cover 20 is prevented from falling off.
  • The suction nozzle cover 20 includes a hollow body 220, a first end 210 and a second end 240. Wherein, the body 220 is a hollow cylinder and is sleeved inside the outer sleeve 10, the first end 210 is mounted on the outer sleeve 10, and the second end 240 recesses inward to from the concave 230. The second end 240 defines at least one suction inlet 242 therein, a user can inhale the smoke atomized in the electronic cigarette via the suction inlet 242. The suction inlet 242 includes a pierced hole 2422 defined in the second end 240 and a through hole 2424 axially extending from the edge of the pierced hole 2422 to the body 220, and an inner diameter of the through hole 2424 is equal to an inner diameter of the pierced hole 2422. The suction inlet 242 can be set in the center axis of the body 220, and can also deviate from the center axis of the body 220. When the electronic cigarette has a plurality of suction inlets 242, the a plurality of suction inlets 242 can be arranged equidistantly and symmetrically. In the embodiment, a shape of the suction inlet 242 is any one of triangle, polygons (such as pentagons or hexagons), and oval. The number of the suction inlet 242 is no limited, that is, can be one or more. When the number of the suction inlet 242 is small, a flow of the smoke will be smaller; and when the number of the suction inlet 242 is large, a flow of the smoke is larger.
  • To prevent the suction nozzle cover 20 from being ejected from the outer sleeve 10 and being accidentally swallowed by users, a snap-fit connection is formed between the suction nozzle cover 20 and the outer sleeve 10. Specifically a lateral wall of the body 220 forms a protruding buckle 222, and an inner wall of the outer sleeve 10 corresponding to the buckle 222 forms a card slot (not shown) buckled with the buckle 222, and the suction nozzle cover 20 is detachably connected with the outer sleeve 10 through the snap-fit connection formed between the buckle 222 and the card slot. Understandably, in other embodiments, a lateral wall of the body 220 forms a card slot (not shown), an inner wall of the outer sleeve 10 forms a buckle (not shown) configured to buckled with the card slot, and the outer sleeve 10 is detachably connected with the suction nozzle cover 20 through the snap-fit connection formed between the buckle and the card slot.
  • Because the concave 230 has a certain buffering function, when the two sides of the suction nozzle cover 20 are pressed and/or squeezed by the radial force, and the radial force is perpendicular to the outer sleeve 10, an inward force along the axis (i.e., the force facing inside of the body 220) of the second end 240 is greater than an outward force (i.e., the facing outside the body 220), and thereby the tendency of motion of the suction nozzle cover 20 is changed. That is, when the suction nozzle cover 20 is pressed and/or squeezed by the external force, the suction nozzle cover 20 generates an inward tendency of motion to the outer sleeve 10, and thereby the suction nozzle cover 20 is prevented from falling off the electronic cigarette, and the user's experiences is improved.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, which illustrates a state when the suction nozzle cover 20 of the electronic cigarette of the present invention is pressed and/or squeezed by an external force. Because the suction nozzle cover 20 includes the concave 230 a that has a buffering function, when the two outer sides of the suction nozzle cover 20 are pressed and/or squeezed by the radial external force, the suction nozzle cover 20 generates a tendency of motion inward the body 220, and thereby the suction nozzle cover 20 is prevented from falling off the electronic cigarette; and the user's experiences is improved.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, an electronic cigarette of a first embodiment of the present invention is provided. In this embodiment, the concave 230 includes a first line segment 232 and a second line segment 234 which are arranged in parallel, a first arc segment 236 connected with the first line segment 232, and a second arc segment 238 connected with the second line segment 234. The first line segment 232, the second line segment 234, the first arc segment 236 and the second arc segment 238 cooperatively form the concave 230. The first line segment 232 and the second line segment 234 are respectively installed on two relative edges of the body 220, an end of the first arc segment 236 and an end of the second arc segment 238 are connected with the suction inlet 242, and both the first arc segment 236 and the second arc segment 238 are installed on the second end 240.
  • A vertical distance from an intersection between the second end 240 and a center axis of the body to the first end is 0.3 cm˜1 cm, that is, a maximum depth of the concave 230 is 0.3 cm˜1 cm. If the maximum depth of the concave 230 is less than 0.3 cm, when the electronic cigarette is squeezed and/or pressed by the external forces, the tendency of motion of the suction nozzle cover 20 cannot be changed effectively, and therefore a hidden danger that the suction nozzle cover 20 may drop may be caused; if the maximum depth of the concave 230 is larger than 1 cm, it may be inconvenience to users when smoking the electronic cigarette. Preferably, the maximum depth of the concave 230 is 0.6 cm. The first end 210, the body 220, the second end 240, and the through hole 2424 are integrally formed, so that it is easy to be produced and the overall effect is good.
  • As shown in FIG. 4, an electronic cigarette of a second embodiment of the present invention is provided. The second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that: the section of the concave 230 is an arc-shaped groove, and the first end 210 includes an upper end 212 and a bottom end 214, the upper end 212 recesses inward to form the arc-shaped groove is, and the chord length of the arc-shaped groove equals to the inner diameter of the body 220.
  • As shown in FIG. 5, an electronic cigarette of a third embodiment of the present invention is provided. The third embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that: the section of the concave 230 is a rectangular groove, and the width of the rectangular groove equals to the inner diameter of the body 220.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, an electronic cigarette of a fourth embodiment of the present invention is provided. The fourth embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that: the section of the concave 230 is an isosceles trapezoid groove, an angle formed by a side edge of the isosceles trapezoid groove and a center axis of the outer sleeve 10 is 10°˜40°, preferably, the angle formed by the side edge of the isosceles trapezoid groove and the center axis of the outer sleeve 10 is 20°.
  • In the electronic cigarette of the present invention, since the second end 240 recesses inward to form the concave 230, when the two sides of the suction nozzle cover 20 are pressed and/or squeezed by the radial force, the inward force of the second end 240 is greater than the outward force, and the suction nozzle cover 20 generates a tendency of motion to inside body 220, thereby the suction nozzle cover 20 is prevented from falling off from the electronic cigarette. Furthermore, the user will feel more flexible when using the electronic cigarette with that structure, and user's experience is improved; moreover, it can prevent the tobacco oil being sucked when a little tobacco oil flows from the suction inlet 242.
  • While the embodiments of the present invention are described with reference to the accompanying drawings above, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific implementations. In fact, the above-mentioned specific implementations are intended to be exemplary not to be limiting.
