FIGS. 1-3 illustrate a handling apparatus in accordance with an embodiment for handling amotherboard 50. The handling apparatus includes ahandle 10, twotrays 20, and two connectingrods 30 rotatably secured to the two ends of thehandle 10 and the twotrays 20. In one embodiment, the handling apparatus is secured to themotherboard 50 of achassis 40, and each of the twotrays 20 is a CPU tray. - The
handle 10 includes alevel panel 11 and twosecuring panels 13 extending from thelevel panel 11. In one embodiment, each of the twosecuring panels 13 is substantially perpendicular to thelevel panel 11. Afirst pivoting hole 131, asecuring hole 133, and asliding slot 135 are defined in each of the twosecuring panels 13. Thesliding slot 135 is located between thefirst pivoting hole 131 and the securinghole 133. In one embodiment, thefirst pivoting hole 131 and thesecuring hole 133 are arranged on a diagonal line that is connected to two corners of each of the twosecuring panels 13, and thesliding slot 135 is substantially arcuate. - Each of the two
trays 20 includes a supportingplate 21 and twomounting plates 23 extending from opposite edges of the supportingplate 21. In one embodiment, each of the twomounting plates 23 is substantially perpendicular to the supportingplate 21. Each of the twomounting plates 23 includes ablocking device 231. Theblocking device 231 includes afirst blocking portion 2311 and asecond blocking portion 2313. Thefirst blocking portion 2311 is defined in each of the twomounting plates 23, and thesecond blocking portion 2313 extends from an edge of each of the twomounting plates 23. Asecond pivoting hole 233 and aclipping hole 235 are defined in each of the twomounting plates 23 and above thefirst blocking portion 2311. - Each of the two connecting
rods 30 includes afirst shaft 31 and asecond shaft 33. Thefirst shaft 31 and thesecond shaft 33 are located on opposite ends of each of the two connectingrods 30. Asliding portion 34, aclamping portion 35, and apositioning portion 36 are defined in each of the two connectingrods 30. The slidingportion 34 is adjacent to thefirst shaft 31, theclamping portion 35 is adjacent to thesecond shaft 33, and thepositioning portion 36 is located between thesliding portion 34 and theclamping portion 35. - A plurality of
memory cards 60 are located between the twotrays 20, and acable 70 is connected to themotherboard 50 and adjacent to the plurality ofmemory cards 60. Abracket 80 is secured to thechassis 40 and adjacent to thecable 70. -
FIGS. 4-7 illustrate an assembly of the handling apparatus in accordance with an embodiment. In assembly, thefirst shaft 31 is received in thefirst pivoting hole 131, and thesecond shaft 33 is received in thesecond pivoting hole 233. Simultaneously, the slidingportion 34 is received in a first end of thesliding slot 135, theclamping portion 35 is engaged in theclipping hole 235, and thepositioning portion 36 is engaged in thesecuring hole 133. Therefore, the two connectingrods 30 are rotatably secured to the twotrays 20 and thehandle 10. At this point, thehandle 10 is located in a first position (seeFIGS. 4-5 ), thefirst blocking portion 2311 abuts each of the two connectingrods 30 for preventing each of the two connectingrods 30 from rotating relative to each of the twotrays 20. Thehandle 10 is away from the plurality ofmemory cards 60, and the plurality ofmemory cards 60 can be easily secured to or removed from themotherboard 50. - The
handle 10 is rotated about thefirst shaft 31 relative to the two connectingrods 30, thesliding portion 34 is slid in thesliding slot 135, until thepositioning portion 36 is disengaged from thesecuring hole 133 and theclamping portion 35 is removed from theclipping hole 235. Thehandle 10 is further rotated to rotate the two connectingrods 30 about thesecond shaft 33 relative to the twotrays 20, until thesliding portion 34 is located on a second end of thesliding slot 135 and the two connectingrods 30 are blocked by thesecond blocking portion 2313. At this point, thehandle 10 is located in a second position (seeFIGS. 6-7 ). Thehandle 10 is away from thecable 70, and thecable 70 can be easily secured to or removed from themotherboard 50. - When the
