  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention is related to a device for holding left and right half of a garment of a broken zipper. More specifically this invention fastens left and right adjacent half's together by gripping behind the teeth of a zipper.
  • Zippers are known to fail to perform the zipping function for various reasons such as lost teeth on the zipper, broken zipper slide, etc. To restore the zipper function, the user has to take the item to a repair store and replace/repair the zipper. This invention provides a device that will hold the right and left half adjacent sides of the zipper teeth together without repair of the zipper.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of invention is to produce a device for holding the left and right half of a garment by holding behind the zipper teeth present on left and right half of the garment.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The drawings are briefly described as follows:
  • FIG. I. is a view of a garment where the zip-linc locking device holds left and right half's together.
  • FIG. II. Is a sectional view of zipper locking device in operation as shown in FIG. 1.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • FIG. 1, is a view of a coat 100 illustrating zip-linc device 200 in operation of in a preferred embodiment.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the coat 100 consists of adjoining left half side 110 and right half side 120. The left half side of 110 is attached with zipper teeth 112 with a material 111. The right half side of 120 is attached with zipper teeth 122 with a material 121.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the zip-linc device 200 contains a left holder 210, a right holder 250, each holder having an upper grip 211, 251 and a lower grip 212, 252. The left holder 210 and right half holder 250 are attached to each other to the opposite side by a flexible material 290. The zip-linc device is of various colors like red, green, blue, oranges, etc. The zip-linc devices right and left holders may also be connected by a zipper.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the zip-linc device is used to fasten left half side and right half side together by inserting from the bottom of adjacent left and right half of the garment and slid up left holder gripping on left half side of the garment and right holder gripping on right half side of the garment. The garment left half side and right half side of the garment are un-fastened by sliding down the zip-linc device.
  • FIG. 2 is a sectional view of FIG. 1.
  • The zip-linc device can also be used by sliding left and right grippers of zip-linc device over the left and right zippers.
