Abstract

A BB gun loading device includes a feeder, a loading unit, a power breaker, and an ejection unit. The loading unit includes a worm, a driven pulley, and a motor. The worm is inserted into the feeder and coupled to the driven pulley which is driven by the motor to rotate. The rotation of the driven pulley links the worm to load BB balls in the feeder for shooting. The power breaker is adapted to cut off power supply. The ejection unit includes a press rod and a touch switch. By pressing the press rod, the touch switch is activated to link the worm to move backward so as to clear the jammed chamber.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention comprises a feeder 1, a loading unit 2, a power breaker 3, an ejection unit 4, and a loader 5.
  • The feeder 1 has a top, a center, a front end, and a rear end. The center of the feeder 1 has a first chamber 11. The top of the feeder 1 has an insertion groove 12 interconnecting with the first chamber 11. The rear end of the feeder 1 has a second chamber 13. The front end of the feeder 1 has a third chamber 14. A fixture 15 extends from a lower edge of the front end of the feeder 1. A guiding groove 151 is formed in the fixture 15.
  • The loading unit 2 comprises a worm 21, a driven pulley 22, and a motor 23. The worm 21 having two ends is disposed in the first chamber 11 and coupled to the driven pulley 22. The motor 23 is used to drive the driven pulley 22 to link the worm 21 to move.
  • The power breaker 3 corresponding to the loading unit 2 is disposed in the second chamber 13. The power breaker 3 comprises a holder 31. The holder 31 has a front end and a rear end. A sleeve 32 protrudes from the front end of the holder 31. A through hole 33 is formed in the center of the sleeve 32. A push rod 34 is provided at a front end of the sleeve 32 and inserted into the through hole 33. A first elastic member 35 is provided between the sleeve 32 and the push rod 34. The first elastic member 35 urges the push rod 34 to engage with the worm 21 of the loading unit 2. The rear end of the holder 31 is provided with a breaker switch 36 corresponding to the push rod 34. The breaker switch 36 is a micro switch, a magnetic induction switch or a light sensor switch.
  • The ejection unit 4 corresponding to the worm 21 of the loading unit 2 is disposed in the third chamber 14 of the feeder 1 and comprises a press rod 41. The press rod 41 has a first end and a second end. The first end of the press rod 41 corresponds to the worm 21 of the loading unit 2. A second elastic member 42 is provided on the first end of the press rod 41, urging the worm 21 of the loading unit 2 to clear the jammed chamber by force. The second end of the press rod 41 is provided with a touch switch 43. The touch switch 43 is electrically connected to the motor 23. When the push force is applied, the touch switch 43 will be activated to drive the motor 23 which links the worm 21 to move backward. This can clear the jammed chamber, either.
  • The loader 5 is to load BB balls 51 and is inserted into the insertion groove 12 on the top of the feeder 1.
  • To assemble the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, the worm 21 of the loading unit 2 is inserted into the first chamber 11 of the feeder 1. The power breaker 3 corresponding to the loading unit 2 is placed in the second chamber 13 of the feeder 1, with the push rod 34 holding against one end of the worm 21. The ejection unit 4 is placed in the third chamber 14 of the feeder 1 and holds against the other end of the worm 21. The loader 5 filled with the BB balls 51 is inserted into the insertion groove 12 on the top of the feeder 1.
  • To operate the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, the fixture 15 of the feeder 1 is secured to a drop hole 61 of a gun body 6. When shooting, the motor 23 of the loading unit 2 will link the driven pulley 22 1o to rotate, which then links the worm 21 to load the BB balls 51 in the loader 5 into the drop hole 61 of the gun body 6 through the guiding groove 151 of the fixture 15 for shooting.
  • When shooting is stopped, as shown in FIG. 5, the motor 23 is still running, which allows the BB balls 51 to continue feeding into the drop hole 61. The overloaded balls 51 will cause the motor 23 to activate the worm 21 to move backward, which brings the push rod 34 to move backward and compress the first elastic member 35. When the push rod 34 touches the breaker switch 36, the power supply will be cut off.
  • When reloading the BB balls 51, because all the BB balls 51 in the loader 5 are fired, the BB balls 51 will be released from squeezing. Hence, the worm 21 will be forced by the first elastic member 35 to disengage from the breaker switch 36. The electric power is resumed, and the motor 23 is running again.
  • When jamming occurred, as shown in FIG. 6, the press rod 41 of the ejection unit 4 is pressed to compress the second elastic member 42. The press rod 41 also urges the worm 21 of the loading unit 2 to clear the jammed situation by force. In the meantime, the touch switch 43 is activated to drive the motor 23 to move the worm 21 backward, providing a dual means to clear the jamming situation.
