Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention generally relates to containers. More specifically, the present invention is a tray used for storing personal items in a sanitary manner.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- Whether traveling for business or pleasure—staying in an upscale resort, “A” deck on a cruise ship or in a budget motel—storing and organizing small personal items in an easily accessible, sanitary environment always presents a problem. Items such as toothbrushes, dentures, glasses, contact lens, rings, hearing aids, etc. should be stored in a place that is easily accessible and relatively sanitary. Bedside tables and bathroom counters in public venues do not meet both criteria. Thus a sanitary tray for personal objects solving the aforementioned problems is desired.
- Whether supplied by the lodging industry as a courtesy for their guests or purchased by an individual from a retail outlet, this invention would make a convenient and more sanitary way for temporary storage of said personal items while traveling.
- There are multitudes of trays disclosed in the related art. Pertinent examples of such trays are cited and identified in the accompanying IDS. However, none of the known, related art discloses a tray for holding personal objects as will subsequently be described and claimed in the instant invention.
- The present invention is drawn to a sanitary tray for holding personal objects. As contemplated the tray can be used by hotels, motels, cruise liners, sports and recreational clubs and any facilities wherein guests may desire to temporarily store personal items. As noted above, such personal item may take the form of personal grooming objects and/or other objects of intimate use that the user may want to store in a sanitary environment. The tray is fabricated from suitable plastic material and includes cavities specifically formed to contain items in an organized manner. One embodiment of the invention is provided with a lid whereby the tray can be optionally closed. The tray may be fabricated in different sizes, different colors and can be embossed with the logo or name of the establishment that is providing the tray to the guests.
- Accordingly, the invention presents a tray that is utilized to store and arrange small personal items in a sanitary and organized manner. The invention provides for improved elements thereof in an arrangement for the purposes described that are inexpensive, dependable and fully effective in accomplishing their intended purposes.
- A clear understanding of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following specification and drawings.
