Provided is a urine examination indicator paper vending machine which is installed near a urinal in a public restroom to thus be conscious of progresses of various adult diseases in advance and prevent development of serious diseases beforehand, and to thereby raise consciousness of various diseases and keep people's healths. The urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) includes a box-shaped vending machine main body on the outer surface of which a manual display, an automatic display, and a manipulator are respectively formed; a measuring portion having a discriminator which is connected with the automatic display; and a urine examination indicator paper loading portion having a residual urine collection vessel at the lower portion of the measuring portion, to accordingly check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion 41 in the urine examination indicator paper.
Description
- This application claims the benefit of Korean Utility-model Registration Application No. 20-2007-0004629, filed on Mar. 21, 2007, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the discIosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a urine examination indicator paper vending machine which is installed near a urinal in a public restroom in which a user can check his or her own health condition that may vary according to state of urine on the spot, to thus be conscious of progresses of various adult diseases in advance and prevent development of serious diseases beforehand, and to thereby raise consciousness of various diseases and keep people's healths.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- In general, in order to initially check infection to various diseases, a urine examination method is widely been used. These urine examination tests are mainly performed through hospitals or clinics, except several people who are interested in their healths and use urine examination indicator papers at home.
- As described above, since such urine examination tests that enable users to initially check infection to various diseases are mainly performed through hospitals or clinics, most people who do not find hospitals or clinics for several reasons do not have an opportunity to check their own healths from time to time. As a result, an early non-serious disease may be developed to a serious disease, to thereby cause patients to suffer from physical, spiritual and economical burdens.
- To overcome inconveniences of the conventional art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a urine examination indicator paper vending machine which is installed near a urinal in a public restroom in which a user can perform a urine examination test through a urine examination indicator paper which is supplied from the urine examination indicator paper vending machine, to thus enable a user to check his or her health condition with respect to a particular disease, and to initially respond to the particular disease, and to then keep people's healths more quickly and economically.
- To accomplish the above object of the present invention, there is provided a urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) which is installed near a urinal (5) in a public restroom and which enables a user to check temporary urine examination, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) comprising:
- a box-shaped vending machine main body (1) on the front-outer surface of which a manual display (13) which enables a user to directly check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in a urine examination indicator paper (4), an automatic display (14) which enables the user to automatically check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in a urine examination indicator paper (4), and a manipulator (15) which enables the user to command the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) to perform a series of operations, are respectively formed;
- a measuring portion (17) having a discriminator (3) which is connected with the automatic display (14) which is formed at the center of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1), at the inner side of the upper surface of the measuring portion (17); and
- a urine examination indicator paper loading portion (2) having a residual urine collection vessel (21) at the lower portion of the measuring portion (17), to accordingly enable a user to receive a urine examination indicator paper (4) from the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) and to check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in the urine examination indicator paper (4).
- Preferably but not necessarily, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine further comprises: a urine examination indicator paper collection vessel (16) which is detachably formed at one side of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1).
- Preferably but not necessarily, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine further comprises: a guiding portion (11) which is installed on the front-outer surface of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1), to inform a user of how to use the vending machine and a notice; and/or an advertising portion (12) through which various kinds of advertisement can be displayed.
- The above and/or other aspects of the present invention will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description of the exemplary embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:

FIG. 4 illustrates an example that urine examination indicator paper vending machines according to the present invention are used. - Hereinbelow, a urine examination indicator paper vending machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like reference numerals are assigned for like elements in the drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 , a urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” which enables a user to perform a urine examination test, includes: a box-shaped vending machine main body 1 on the front-outer surface of which a guidingportion 11 which is installed on the front-outer surface of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body 1, to inform a user of how to use the vending machine and a notice, an advertizingportion 12 through which various kinds of advertizement such as adult diseases can be displayed, amanual display 13 which enables a user to directly check a reaction change degree on areaction portion 41 in a urineexamination indicator paper 4, anautomatic display 14 which enables the user to automatically check a reaction change degree on areaction portion 41 in a urineexamination indicator paper 4, and amanipulator 15 which enables the user to command the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” to perform a series of operations such as insertion of coins and discharging of urine examination indicator papers, are respectively formed. - In addition, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” includes: a urine examination indicator
paper collection vessel 16 which is detachably formed at one side of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body 1; ameasuring portion 17 having adiscriminator 3 which is connected with theautomatic display 14 which is formed at the center of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body 1, at the inner side of the upper surface of themeasuring portion 17, to thus enable thediscriminator 3 to discriminate a reaction change degree on areaction portion 41 in a urineexamination indicator paper 4 and to thereby make theautomatic display 14 to display the discrimination result thereon; and a urine examination indicatorpaper loading portion 2 having a residualurine collection vessel 21 at the lower portion of themeasuring portion 17, to accordingly enable a user to receive a urineexamination indicator paper 4 from the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” and to check a reaction change degree on areaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4. - In general, the
manual display 13 displays a contrast table for an initial urine examination test. For example, concentrations of protein, glucose, pH and occult blood of urine are displayed as a color change table on themanual display 13. Accordingly, a user who uses a urineexamination indicator paper 4 directly compares a reaction change degree, that is, a color change result on thereaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4 which has been soaked with the urine, with the contrast table which is displayed in several steps on themanual display 13 according to symptoms of diseases, to thereby enable the user to easily discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection and to cope with the diseases. - The
automatic display 14 operates as follows. If a user who uses a urineexamination indicator paper 4 puts the urineexamination indicator paper 4 which has been soaked with urine on the urine examination indicatorpaper loading portion 2 and then manipulates adiscriminator operation switch 171, a discrimination result which has been discriminated by thediscriminator 3 is displayed as any one of three levels such as “normal,” “warning” or “consult the doctor” on theautomatic display 14. Accordingly, theautomatic display 14 also enables the user to easily discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection and to cope with the diseases. - The
manipulator portion 15 includes acoin inlet 151, abill inlet 152 a, arefund lever 152, amoney display window 153, a urine examination indicatorpaper discharge button 154, a urine examinationindicator paper outlet 155, and achange outlet 156, in the same manner as a general vending machine, and enables a user to command the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” to perform a series of the vending machine operations. - As shown in
FIG. 4 , a plurality of the urine examination indicator paper vending machines “A” may be installed nearurinals 5 for men in this embodiment. However, the urine examination indicator paper vending machines can be installed in the public restroom for women. - The operation of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” will follow. A user who wants a urine examination test inserts a predetermined mount of money into the
coin inlet 151 or thebill inlet 152 a which is formed in themanipulator 15 which is located at one side of the vending machine main body 1, before urination, and obtains a urineexamination indicator paper 4 through the urine examinationindicator paper outlet 155. Then, the user soaks areaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4 with his or her urine so that thereaction portion 41 reacts with the urine. Then, the user puts the urineexamination indicator paper 4 which has been reacted with the urine on the urine examination indicatorpaper loading portion 2 which is installed in themeasuring portion 17 which is located at the center of the vending machine main body 1. Then, the user manipulates thediscriminator operation switch 171. As a result, a discrimination result which has been discriminated by thediscriminator 3 is displayed as any one of three levels such as “normal,” “warning” or “consult the doctor” on theautomatic display 14. Accordingly, theautomatic display 14 enables the user to easily discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection and to cope with the diseases. - Meanwhile, in the case that a user who wants a urine examination test directly discriminates a urine examination test result instead of putting a urine
examination indicator paper 4 which has been soaked with urine on the urine examination indicatorpaper loading portion 2, he or she directly compares a reaction change degree, that is, a color change result on thereaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4 which has been soaked with the urine, with the contrast table which is displayed in several steps on themanual display 13 according to symptoms of diseases, to thereby enable the user to easily discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection and to cope with the diseases. - In order to make more people use the urine examination indicator paper vending machine, any one who wants a urine examination test may simply press a urine examination indicator
paper discharge button 154 and obtains a urine examination indicator paper without inserting a predetermined amount of money in the public restroom. That is, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” maybe designed to operate on a free of charge basis. - In addition, in the case that the number of conditions, that is, the number of inspection items, of the
reaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4 is provided in various forms, development of various kinds of diseases may be interrupted or prevented only with the urine examination test, in which the contrast table of themanual display 13 and the discrimination capability of thediscriminator 3 are set in correspondence to the conditions of thereaction portion 41 in the urineexamination indicator paper 4. - The urine examination indicator paper vending machine “A” may be installed in the toilet for men or women, to thus enable users to easily discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection and to cope with the diseases.
- The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments. It is apparent to one who has an ordinary skill in the art that there may be many modifications and variations within the same technical spirit of the invention.
- As described above, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine according to the present invention enables users who want a urine examination test to easily obtain a urine examination indicator paper and make a reaction portion in the urine examination indicator paper soaked with urine, and to compare a color change of the reaction portion in the urine examination indicator paper with the contrast table on the manual display to thereby directly discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection, or put the urine examination indicator paper soaked with urine on the urine examination indicator paper loading portion to make the discriminator automatically discriminate infection of diseases and level of infection, to then be displayed on the automatic display. Accordingly, aggravation of the users' healths can be prevented in advance. Further, without going to hospitals or clinics to consult the doctors, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine provides an effect of enabling users to be conscious of progresses of various adult diseases in advance and prevent development of serious diseases beforehand, and to thereby raise consciousness of various diseases and keep users' healths.
Claims (4)
1. A urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) which is installed near a urinal (5) in a public restroom and which enables a user to check temporary urine examination, the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) comprising:
a box-shaped vending machine main body (1) on the front-outer surface of which a manual display (13) which enables a user to directly check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in a urine examination indicator paper (4), an automatic display (14) which enables the user to automatically check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in a urine examination indicator paper (4), and a manipulator (15) which enables the user to command the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) to perform a series of operations, are respectively formed;
a urine examination indicator paper collection vessel (16) which is detachably formed at one side of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1);
a measuring portion (17) having a discriminator (3) which is connected with the automatic display (14) which is formed at the center of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1), at the inner side of the upper surface of the measuring portion (17); and
a urine examination indicator paper loading portion (2) having a residual urine collection vessel (21) at the lower portion of the measuring portion (17), to accordingly enable a user to receive a urine examination indicator paper (4) from the urine examination indicator paper vending machine (A) and to check a reaction change degree on a reaction portion (41) in the urine examination indicator paper (4).
2. The urine examination indicator paper vending machine according to claim 1 , further comprising: a urine examination indicator paper collection vessel (16) which is detachably formed at one side of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1).

The urine examination indicator paper vending machine according to claim 1 , further comprising: a guiding portion (11) which is installed on the front-outer surface of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1), to inform a user of how to use the vending machine and a notice; and/or an advertizing portion (12) through which various kinds of advertizement can be displayed.
4. The urine examination indicator paper vending machine according to claim 2 , further comprising: a guiding portion (11) which is installed on the front-outer surface of the urine examination indicator paper vending machine main body (1), to inform a user of how to use the vending machine and a notice; and/or an advertizing portion (12) through which various kinds of advertizement can be displayed.
