Abstract

A flexible merchandising display system which includes a merchandising display panel. The merchandising display panel includes a front surface having several raised frames configured to receive support arms of sufficient structural integrity to maintain merchandise suspended therefrom. At or about a top edge of the merchandising display panel, at least one bracket is provided to interface with a supporting structure, such as a slot wall, pegboard wall or a grid wall. A base mount is also provided which allows the merchandising display panel to be used as a standalone countertop display.

The various embodiments relate generally to a merchandising display system, and more specifically to a merchandising display system which is configured to interface with a slot wall, grid wall, pegboard wall or alternately as a standalone display using a base mount.

BACKGROUND

Slot walls have become popular in many retail environments. The slot walls allow for significant flexibility in organization and merchandising of items of various shapes and sizes. In addition, slot walls are generally more aesthetically appealing than the previous discrete shelving arrangements and offer an advantage of continuous rather than incremental horizontal merchandise position adjustment. In other situations, pegboard walls and grid walls are used. However, all of the display arrangements still generally require labor intensive repositioning of individual supports to accommodate a particular grouping of merchandise. Improvements in the relevant art have been directed toward strengthening of the slot wall or preventing dislodging of a support arm from a slot wall when a consumer removes an item of merchandise. For smaller, merchandise items, repositioning of support arms, restocking and/or movement of the merchandise remains time consuming, labor intensive and typically results in inefficient space utilization.

SUMMARY

In accordance with one embodiment, a merchandising display panel is provided. One or more support arms are used to maintain merchandise on the merchandising display panel. Each of the support arms includes a longitudinal arm section having a predetermined length, a hook at one end and a connector at an opposite end of the longitudinal arm section. One or more raised frames are periodically affixed at predetermined spacing onto a front surface of the merchandising display panel. The raised frames each include a receptacle dimensioned to receive the connectors of the support arms. One or more brackets are attached to a top edge of the merchandising display panel for engaging a support structure.
In one embodiment, a base mount is provided to allow the merchandising display panel to be used as a standalone countertop display. The base mount includes a horizontal base member, a vertical support member longitudinally attached to the horizontal base member. The vertical support member includes a longitudinally aligned channel dimensioned to receive at least a portion of the lower section of the merchandising display panel which lacks the raised frames.
In one embodiment, the longitudinally aligned channel extends vertically downward from a top edge of the vertical support member to a top surface of the horizontal base member.
In one embodiment, the lower section of the merchandising display panel extends from a predetermined position below the last row of raised frames to a bottom edge of the merchandising display panel.
In one embodiment, a width of the longitudinally aligned channel is greater than the thickness of the merchandising display panel.
In one embodiment, the vertical support member is longitudinally coupled to the horizontal base member at about a longitudinal centerline of the horizontal base.
In one embodiment, each of the raised frames receive the connectors of the support arms in a plane parallel to the front surface of the merchandising display panel system such that each of the support arms are aligned in a plane perpendicular to the front surface of the merchandising display panel.
In one embodiment, each of the connectors is installed within each of the receptacles from a position above each of the plurality of raised frames but parallel to the front surface of the merchandising display panel.
In one embodiment, the merchandising display panel is configured with brackets for use with commonly available support structures, examples of which include slot walls, grid walls, and pegboard walls. As discussed in more detail below, using the various exemplary embodiments, with little or no modification, there is considerable flexibility, adaptability, and opportunity for customization to meet the specific needs of various users including, retailers, merchandisers, distributors and/or consumers.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The flexible merchandising display system provides a merchandising display panel for use with commonly available support structures, for example, slot walls, grid walls, and pegboard walls. Alternately, the flexible merchandising display system can be configured as a standalone display. The features and advantages of the flexible merchandising display system will become apparent from the following detailed description when considered in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Where possible, the same reference numerals and characters are used to denote like features, elements, components or portions of the merchandising display panel. It is intended that changes and modifications can be made to the described embodiment without departing from the true scope and spirit of the merchandising display panel as defined in the claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

A flexible merchandising display system for use with slot walls, grid walls, pegboard walls or as a standalone countertop display is provided. The flexible merchandising display system can easily be configured as subpanel assemblies which allows for direct replacement of merchandise without having to individually reposition support arms on a slot wall. This simplifies displaying of merchandise, stock re-ordering and replacement and further allows for merchandisers and/or distributors to standardized merchandising displays in multiple locations.
FIG. 1 depicts a frontal view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. The flexible merchandising display system comprises a generally planar merchandising display panel 5, one or more brackets 10 a, 10 b affixed to a top edge of merchandising display panel 5, and a plurality of raised frames 15 a-15 l. The plurality of raised frames 15 a-15 l are provided for attaching one or more support arms 25 to merchandising display panel 5. In one embodiment of merchandising display system, raised frames 15 a-15 l are attached adhesively to the front surface of merchandising display panel 5 at periodically spaced horizontal and vertical intervals. The horizontal and/or vertical spacing is generally defined by the dimensions and/or weight of the merchandise intended to be displayed on merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, a predetermined area below the last row of raised frames 15 i, 15 j, 15 k, 15 l is devoid of raised frames to allow for use with a base mount 90 (FIGS. 9-14). Typically, anywhere from 5-25% of the lower section of merchandising display panel 5, remains devoid of raised frames. The exact configuration is generally determined by the weight and/or dimensions of the merchandise to be suspended from merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5, raised frames 15 a-15 l, brackets 10 a, 10 b and support arm(s) 25 are all constructed from an acrylic polymeric material, for example Plexiglas (™). The acrylic polymer material may be transparent, opaque and/or colored to meet specific merchandising plans. In one embodiment, the number of raised frames 15 a-15 l may be varied as well to accommodate different packaging dimensions of the suspended merchandise. One having ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the actual construction materials and/or color selection may be changed to suit a particular environmental or business need. For example, high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinylchloride (PVC), thermoset plastics and/or thermoplastics may be used.
Slot wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are formed into an elbow to allow simple insertion into a slot 22 (FIG. 2) of a slot panel 20 (FIG. 2). Either a modified “L” or “T” shape may be used to fit into a slot 22 (FIG. 2) of a slot wall 20 (FIG. 2). In one embodiment, brackets 10 a, 10 b are affixed at or near a top edge of merchandising display panel 5 using an adhesive. Depending on the construction materials used, the adhesive is typically a solvent based adhesive. In one embodiment, fasteners may be used to affix brackets 10 a, 10 b to merchandising display panel 5. If only lightweight merchandise is to be displayed, a single, laterally centered bracket 10 a may suffice. In one embodiment, grid wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are configured as inverted U hooks for engaging a common horizontal wire associated with a grid wall (FIG. 4A). In one embodiment, pegboard wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are each configured with a pair of upward curving prongs for engaging a common horizontal row of holes associated with a pegboard wall (FIG. 4B).
In one embodiment, one or more rod shaped support arms 25 are provided with connectors 35 which slidably fit into raised frames 15 a-15 l in a cantilever arrangement. A hook 30 is provided at one end of the support arm 25 opposite from connector 35. In one embodiment, the length of the support arm(s) 25 may be varied to accommodate a wide range of merchandise and sales demand. For example, a slower selling item of merchandise may be placed on a shorter support arm 25 while another more rapid selling item of merchandise may be placed on a longer support arm 25. In one embodiment, signage 7 (i.e., “STUFF,”) is affixed to a front surface of the merchandising display panel 5. Signage 7 may be a simple adhesive backed type label. Signage 7 is intended to provide a visual reference of what merchandise is available on merchandising display panel 5, thus simplifying the location and/or identification of merchandise by a customer, merchandiser and/or distributor. Signage 7 is typically affixed to merchandising display panel 5 in a space between brackets 10 a, 10 b and a first row of raised frames 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, 15 d.
FIG. 2 depicts a side view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, at least a portion of slot wall bracket 10 b engages an interior surface of a channel forming slot 22 in slot wall 20. Second slot wall bracket 10 a is not shown, but engages the same slot 22 in parallel to bracket 10 b depicted. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is provided in a rectangular shape. The shape and dimensions of merchandising display panel 5 are not critical and may be constructed in any convenient shape or size. The raised frames 15 d, 15 h, 15 l are shown as having a relatively low profile to maximize the merchandise storage capacity of merchandising display panel 5. More rugged arrangements are envisioned as well which will allow support arm(s) 25 to maintain heavier merchandise.
FIG. 3 depicts a top view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, a pair of slot wall brackets 10 a, 10 b is affixed to the top edge of merchandising display panel 5 using for example, a solvent based adhesive. The dimensions of slot wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are determined by the cumulative weight to be supported by the brackets 10 a, 10 b. In typical merchandising environments, the dimensions of brackets 10 a, 10 b are not critical. When heavy loads are anticipated, slot wall bracket 10 a, 10 b dimensions will be determined by either the shear strength of the acrylic material and/or the weld strength of the adhesive used to join brackets 10 a, 10 b to merchandising display panel 5. In one embodiment, a row of raised frames 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, 15 d is affixed to the front surface of the merchandising display panel 5 using for example, a solvent based adhesive.
Raised frames 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, and 15 d form receptacles which are dimensioned to receive the connector 35 affixed to each support arm 25. In one embodiment, raised frames 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, 15 d are generally rectangular shaped members having a generally rectangular hollow interior, a rectangular slot at the top and a “U” shaped channel on their forward face which intersects the slot along a vertical centerline of the raised frames 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, 15 d. The rectangular slot is dimensioned to receive the generally rectangular connector 35 (FIG. 4) affixed to each of support arms 25 (FIG. 4); the “U” shaped channel is dimensioned to receive the rod portion of support arm 25 (FIG. 4.) The shape and dimension of the raised frames and/or the connectors are not critical. In one envisioned embodiment, the raised frames and/or connectors are “V” shaped (not shown.)
FIG. 4 depicts a first perspective view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is slidably mounted in slot 22 of slot wall 20. In this exemplary, the upper portions of slot wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are slid laterally into the channel forming slot 22 in slot wall 20, moved into a desired location on slot wall 20 and released. Merchandise item(s) 40 may be pre-positioned on support arm(s) 25 before installing merchandising display panel 5 on slot wall 20 or thereafter. Support arm(s) 25 are installed by aligning connector 35 of support arm 25 with the opening at the top of raised frame 15 i with the hook 30 of support arm 25 facing up. Support arm 25 is slid vertically downward which allows connector 35 of support arm 25 to engage the raised frame 15 i, forming a type of cantilever arm. Merchandise item(s) 40 are then disposed on support arm(s) 25 by threading hook 30 through an aperture provided in the packaging of merchandise item(s) 40. As previously discussed, support arm 25 may have pre-positioned merchandise already suspended therefrom as shown in FIG. 4.
FIG. 4A depicts a second perspective view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is hooked onto a horizontal wire associated with a grid wall 23. In one embodiment, grid wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are configured as inverted U hooks for engaging the common horizontal wire associated with grid wall 23. In one embodiment, the inverted U hooks include a width of approximately three quarters of an inch to fit standard one inch square grid wall spacing. In one embodiment, the upper portions of grid wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are placed over a common horizontal wire of grid 23 at a desired location and released. As previously discussed, support arm 25 may have pre-positioned merchandise already suspended therefrom as shown in FIG. 4.
FIG. 4B depicts a third perspective view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is hooked into a pair of holes associated with a pegboard wall 24. In this exemplary, the prongs of pegboard wall brackets 10 a, 10 b are placed into holes of a common horizontal role of pegboard wall 24 at a desired location and released. In one embodiment, the prongs used to engage the holes are spaced one inch apart to allow for interfacing with standard half inch spacing pegboard. As previously discussed, support arm 25 may have pre-positioned merchandise already suspended therefrom.
FIG. 5 depicts a fourth perspective view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is tilted or aligned tangentially to the intended placement slot 22 of slot wall 20 to allow at least upper portions of slot wall brackets 10 a, 10 b to be inserted at an angle into the channel forming the slot 22 and generally at the desired location on slot wall 20. As previously discussed, merchandise item(s) 40 may be pre-positioned on support arm(s) 25 before installing merchandising display panel 5 on slot wall 20 or thereafter.
FIG. 6 depicts a frontal view of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, a completed flexible merchandising display system is provided where a plurality of related or complementary merchandise items 40 a-40 l are displayed on merchandising display panel 5. Merchandising display panel 5 is installed in a selected slot 22 at a desired location on slot wall 20. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 has different styles of a related or complementary type of merchandise (Styles A-L) 40 a-40 l displayed in an organized and easily maintainable merchandising display system. The flexible merchandising display system has many advantages including but not limited to; optimized use of limited slot wall space, simplification in re-ordering and restocking of merchandise 40 a-40 l, improved aesthetics, improved organization of displayed merchandise 40 a-40 l, simplified standardization for displaying of merchandise 40 a-40 l, minimized time and labor required for setup, maintenance and replacement of a display, and/or facilitates the use of pre-assembled or easily assembled for display kits for slot wall 20.
FIG. 7 depicts a first kit form of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5, merchandise 40, support arms 25, and instructions 55 for assembling and displaying the merchandise are provided in packaging 50, 60, 65 and sent to a retail establishment and/or merchandiser for assembly and installation on slot wall 20. Instructions 55 are intended to provide sufficient information to properly assembly the merchandising display system, including merchandise 40 placement on merchandising display panel 5.
FIG. 8 depicts a second kit form of a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5, support arms 25, and merchandise 40 are prepackaged 50 by a distributor or other third party provider and sent to the retail establishment or merchandiser with placement instructions 55 for displaying the merchandise on slot wall 20.
FIG. 9 depicts a top view of a base mount 90 for a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, a base mount 90 is provided which allows merchandising display panel 5 to be configured for use as a standalone countertop display as is shown in FIG. 14. In one embodiment, base mount 90 is constructed from the same acrylic polymeric materials as merchandising display panel 5. In one embodiment, base mount 90 includes a generally rectangular or elongated horizontal base member 100, a rectangular or elongated vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 affixed to a long dimension of horizontal base member 100. In one embodiment, vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 is affixed to horizontal base member 100 using for example, a solvent based adhesive. In one embodiment, placement of vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 is along a longitudinal centerline of horizontal base member 100.
In one embodiment, vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 is offset toward a lateral edge but parallel to the longitudinal centerline of horizontal base member 100 to allow for greater tipping resistance when heavier merchandise 40 is to be supported by merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 is constructed from a pair of equally sized elongated support members 105, 110 and a pair of spacers 120, 125. Spacers 120, 125 are inserted in parallel to one another at each lateral edge (short dimension) of elongated support members 105, 110 and permanently affixed in parallel alignment therebetween using for example, a solvent based adhesive. The interior surfaces of elongated support members 105, 110 and spacers 120, 125 define a longitudinally aligned channel 115 for insertion of a lower section of merchandising display panel 5. As such, a width of longitudinally aligned channel 115 should be dimensioned slightly greater than a thickness of merchandising display panel 5. Likewise, the length of longitudinally aligned channel 115 should be dimensioned slightly greater than a width of merchandising display panel 5. In various exemplary embodiments, some lateral and longitudinal clearances are included in the dimensions of longitudinally aligned channel 115 to allow for insertion and removal of merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, elongated support members 105, 110 are used without spacers 120, 125. In this embodiment, elongated support members 105, 110 are affixed to horizontal base member 100 in grooves or slots, vertically oriented, and spaced a width apart sufficient to provide an interference fit when engaging at least a lower section of merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, elongated support members 105, 110 are dimensioned to be approximately equal in length to a long dimension of horizontal base member 100. In one embodiment, elongated support members 105, 110 are dimensioned to have a height of approximately one half that of a width of horizontal base member 100. Spacers 120, 125 are dimensioned so as to provide a width of longitudinally aligned channel 115 greater than the thickness of merchandising display panel 5 and a length of longitudinally aligned channel 115 greater than a width of merchandising display panel 5.
In one embodiment, Plexiglas (™) sheet stock having a thickness of approximately one-eighth inch is used for lightweight display purposes. The dimensions and thicknesses of base mount 90 are not critical, however, for structural stability and resistance against tipping due to air flow and/or movement of merchandise 40, a long dimension of rectangular horizontal base member 100 should be equal to or greater than a width of a merchandising display panel 5 intended to be supported by base mount 90. In one embodiment, horizontal base member 100 is constructed from thicker (i.e., heavier) sheet stock than elongated support members 105, 110 for improved stability.
In one embodiment, elastomeric feet 130 a, 130 b, 130 c, 130 d are affixed at approximately each corner of horizontal base member 100. Elastomeric feet 130 a, 130 b, 130 c, 130 d are intended to prevent base mount 90 from sliding or skidding on a support surface, for example a countertop, particularly when merchandise 40 is added or removed from merchandising display panel 5 supported by base mount 90.
FIG. 10 depicts a lateral side view of base mount 90 for a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, horizontal base member 100 includes vertical support member 105, 110, 125 (spacer 120 is concealed from view) affixed at about a longitudinal centerline of horizontal base member 100. In this exemplary embodiment, the thickness of horizontal base member 100 and thickness of elongated support members 105, 110 are shown as being approximately equal. Spacer 125 is shown as being slightly wider than the thicknesses of horizontal base member 100 and elongated support members 105, 110 to provide sufficient clearance of merchandising display 5. In this exemplary embodiment, elastomeric feet 130 b, 130 c are provided at adjacent corners of horizontal base member 100.
FIG. 11 depicts a longitudinal side view of base mount 90 for a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, rectangular support member 110 is shown having a long dimension equal to a long dimension of horizontal base member 100. In this exemplary embodiment, elastomeric feet 130 a, 130 b are provided at opposite corners of horizontal base member 100.
FIG. 12 depicts a perspective view of base mount 90 for a flexible merchandising display system according to one embodiment. In one embodiment, base mount 90 is shown with vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 having a height equal to approximately one half that of the width of horizontal base member 100. Longitudinally aligned channel 115 is shown having a vertical extent equal to the height of vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125 and a bottom defined by a top surface of horizontal base member 100. In this exemplary embodiment, elastomeric feet 130 c, 130 d, 130 b (elastomeric foot 130 a is concealed from view) are provided at opposite corners and adjacent corner of horizontal base member 100.
FIG. 13 depicts a perspective view of base mount 90 and merchandising display panel 5 in accordance with one embodiment. In one embodiment, merchandising display panel 5 is inserted into longitudinally aligned channel 115 by laterally aligning merchandising display panel 5 in parallel to longitudinally aligned channel 115. Merchandising display panel 15 is then slidably disposed within longitudinally aligned channel 115 until a bottom edge of merchandising display panel 5 encounters a top surface of horizontal base member 100 as shown in FIG. 14.
Once merchandising display panel 5 is properly seated within longitudinally aligned channel 115 and maintained by vertical support member 105, 110, 120, 125, support arm(s) 25 and merchandise 40 may be installed as previously described. In one embodiment, as discussed with reference to FIG. 6, merchandising display panel 5 may include pre-installed merchandise and slidably disposed in base mount 90 which allows for simple placement on a support structure within retail and/or other establishments.
The foregoing described embodiments of the merchandising display panel are provided as illustrations and descriptions. They are not intended to limit the flexible merchandising display system to precise form described. In particular, it is contemplated that various dimensions, colors and construction materials of the flexible merchandising display system described herein may be implemented. No specific limitation is intended to a particular dimension, shape and/or construction materials. In addition, the language used in the specification has been principally selected for readability, clarity and instructional purposes, and may not have been selected to delineate or circumscribe the subject matter. Accordingly, the disclosure of the various embodiments is intended to be illustrative, but not limiting, of the inventive scope, which is set forth in the Claims that follow below. Therefore, numerous variations, whether explicitly provided for by the specification or implied by the specification or not, may be implemented by one of ordinary skill in the art in view of this disclosure.

Claims

1. A flexible merchandising display system comprising:

a merchandising display panel;

interfacing means for interfacing said merchandising display panel with a supporting structure;

front surface coupling means for repositionably coupling a plurality of support arms onto a front surface of said merchandising display panel; and,

a base mount for vertically supporting said merchandising display panel when a lower section of said merchandising display panel is disposed within a vertically aligned channel associated with said base mount.

2. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 1 wherein said coupling means comprises a plurality of raised frames affixed onto said front surface of said merchandising display panel.

3. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 2 wherein each of said plurality of raised frames comprises a receptacle dimensioned to receive a connector affixed to one end of each of said plurality of support arms.

4. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 3 wherein each of said plurality of support arms comprises a hook at an end opposite said connector.

5. The system of claim 1 wherein said interfacing means is selected from the group consisting of at least one of a slot wall bracket, a grid wall bracket and a pegboard wall bracket.

6. The system according to claim 1 wherein said lower section of said merchandising display panel extends from a predetermined position below a last row of said front surface coupling means to a bottom edge of said merchandising display panel.

7. The system according to claim 1 wherein said base mount comprises:

a horizontal base member;

a vertical support member longitudinally coupled to said horizontal base member;

said vertical support member including a longitudinally aligned channel dimensioned to receive said lower portion of said merchandising display panel.

8. The system according to claim 7 wherein said longitudinally aligned channel extends vertically downward from a top edge of said vertical support member to a top surface of said horizontal base member.

9. A merchandising display panel system comprising:

a merchandising display panel;

a plurality of support arms, each of said plurality of support arms comprises a longitudinal arm member having a predetermined length, a hook coupled to one end of said longitudinal arm member and a connector coupled to an opposite end of said longitudinal arm member;

a plurality of raised frames periodically affixed at predetermined spacing onto a front surface of said merchandising display panel, each of said plurality of raised frames comprising a receptacle dimensioned to receive each of said connectors; and,

at least one bracket coupled to a top edge of said merchandising display panel for interfacing said merchandising display panel with a supporting structure.

10. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 9 further comprising a lower section devoid of said plurality of raised frames.

11. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 10 further comprising a base mount, said base mount including;

an elongated horizontal base member;

an elongated vertical support member longitudinally coupled to said elongated horizontal base member;

said elongated vertical support member including a longitudinally aligned channel dimensioned to receive at least a portion of said lower section of said merchandising display panel.

12. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 10 wherein said lower section of said merchandising display panel extends from a predetermined position below a last row of said plurality of raised frames to a bottom edge of said merchandising display panel.

13. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 11 wherein a width of said longitudinally aligned channel is greater than a thickness of said merchandising display panel.

14. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 11 wherein said elongated vertical support member is longitudinally coupled to said elongated horizontal base member at about a longitudinal centerline of said elongated horizontal base.

15. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 9 wherein each of said plurality of raised frames are configured to receive each of said connectors in a plane parallel to said front surface of said merchandising display panel system such that each of said support arms are aligned in a plane perpendicular to said front surface of said merchandising display panel.

16. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 9 wherein said at least one bracket is selected from the group consisting of a slot wall bracket, a grid wall bracket and a pegboard wall bracket.

17. A flexible merchandising display system comprising:

a merchandising display panel;

a plurality of support arms, each of said plurality of support arms comprising a longitudinal arm member having a predetermined length, a hook coupled to one end of said longitudinal arm member and a connector coupled to an opposite end of said longitudinal member;

a plurality of raised frames periodically affixed at predetermined spacing onto a front surface of said merchandising display panel, each of said raised frames comprising a receptacle dimensioned to receive each of said connectors; and,

a base mount for maintaining said merchandising display panel in a substantially vertical orientation.

18. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 17 further comprising at least one bracket coupled at about a top edge of said merchandising display panel for interfacing said merchandising display panel with a supporting structure.

19. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 17 wherein said base mount comprises;

a horizontal base member;

a vertical support member longitudinally coupled to said elongated horizontal base member;

said vertical support member including a longitudinally aligned channel dimensioned to receive at least a portion of said merchandising display panel.

20. The flexible merchandising display system of claim 18 wherein said at least one bracket is selected from the group consisting of a slot wall bracket, a grid wall bracket and a pegboard wall bracket.
