Abstract
A clipping device of an electroplating base plate is disclosed. The clipping device comprising a base frame connected to an electrode plate so as to link to a negative electrode; a first shaft pivotally connected to the two ends of the base frame; a plurality of the pressing rollers eccentrically mounted to the first shaft so that the roller edge of the roller presses the base frame; and an operating rod including a board-pressing section having a first end pivotally mounted to the base frame which is restored constantly by a spring and a linking rod module being positioned between the operating rod and the first shaft and a second end of the pressed the board-pressing section, the first shaft being rotated with an angle, i.e., the pressing roller is rotated to an angle so that there is a gap formed between the roller edge and the base frame for insertion of the base plate for electroplating, and after the releasing of the board-pressing section of the operating rod, the spring causes the restoration such that the roller edge presses the electroplating base plate so as to tightly clip the electroplating base plate to proceed with electroplating operation.
Description
- (a) Technical Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a clipping device used in clipping the base plate in electroplating and in particular, a clipping device having eccentric pressing roller to clip the base plate in the electroplating process.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Conventional clipping device used in electroplating is an elongated plate body having a plurality of hooks to correspond to the base plate for electroplating. After that screws are used to tight and seal the inlet. The clipping device is used to hold to be electroplated object to be placed into acidic solution and electrolyte. The conventional clipping device required constantly unscrewing of screws and it is thus laborious and time wasting. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a clipping device of an electroplating base plate which mitigates the above drawback.
- Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a clipping device of an electroplating base plate comprising a base frame connected to an electrode plate so as to link to a negative electrode; a first shaft pivotally connected to the two ends of the base frame; a plurality of the pressing rollers eccentrically mounted to the first shaft so that the roller edge of the roller presses the base frame; and an operating rod including a board-pressing section having a first end pivotally mounted to the base frame which is restored constantly by a spring and a linking rod module being positioned between the operating rod and the first shaft and a second end of the pressed the board-pressing section, the first shaft being rotated with an angle, i.e., the pressing roller is rotated to an angle so that there is a gap formed between the roller edge and the base frame for insertion of the base plate for electroplating, and after the releasing of the board-pressing section of the operating rod, the spring causes the restoration such that the roller edge presses the electroplating base plate so as to tightly clip the electroplating base plate to proceed with electroplating operation.
- Yet still another object of the present invention is to provide a clipping device of an electroplating base plate, wherein the clipping of the electroplating base plate is secured by means of the eccentric pressing rollers and the base plate will not drop even the device moves or vibrates.
- Still another object of the present invention is to provide a clipping device of an electroplating base plate, wherein the operation of the clipping device is rapid and simple.
- Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide a clipping device of an electroplating base plate, wherein the distance between the first and the second plate body is adjustable and therefore the device is applicable for different sizes base plate.
- The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 to 11, there is shown a clipping device for an electroplating base board comprising abase frame 1 connected to anelectrode plate 15 so as to link to a negative electrode; afirst shaft 2 pivotally connected to the two ends of thebase frame 1; a plurality of thepressing rollers 3 eccentrically mounted to thefirst shaft 2 so that theroller edge 30 of theroller 3 presses thebase frame 1; and anoperating rod 4 including a board-pressingsection 40 having afirst end 4 a pivotally mounted to thebase frame 1 which is restored constantly by aspring 41 and a linkingrod module 42 being positioned between theoperating rod 4 and thefirst shaft 2 and asecond end 4 b of the pressed the board-pressingsection 40, thefirst shaft 2 being rotated with an angle, i.e., thepressing roller 3 is rotated to an angle so that there is a gap formed between theroller edge 30 and thebase frame 1 for insertion of the base plate for electroplating, and after the releasing of the board-pressingsection 40 of theoperating rod 4, thespring 41 causes the restoration such that theroller edge 30 presses theelectroplating base plate 5 so as to tightly clip theelectroplating base plate 5 to proceed with electroplating operation. - As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the
base frame 1 includes afirst plate body 11 having aside wall 111 protruded at the side end, and ashaft hole 111 a being formed corresponding to theside wall 111 so as to pivotally mounted thefirst shaft 2 therein; at least anurging plate 12 fastened to thefirst plate body 11 and theurging plate 12 correspondingly urges thepressing roller 3 and theroller edge 30 of thepressing roller 30 approaches theurging plate 12 so as to clip anelectroplating base plate 5. - As shown in
FIGS. 7, 8 and 9, one side of thefirst plate body 11 is protruded with aprotruded plate 13. The top end of theprotruded plate 13 is asuspension hook 131 so as to hold onto theelectroplating plate 15, and the middle section of theprotruded plate 13 is pivotally mounted with acam triggering plate 14, and is mounted sidably asecuring press plate 141 between thetriggering plate 14 and theprotruded plate 13. When thetriggering plate 14 is rotated, thecam section 142 of thetriggering plate 14 urges to press thesecuring press plate 141 at the direction of theprotruded plate 13 such that thesecuring press plate 14 tightly presses against theelectrode plate 15 between thesecuring press plate 141 and theprotruded plate 13 so as to tightly secure theelectrode plate 15. When electroplating process is completed, as shown inFIG. 9 , thetriggering plate 14 is turned so that thecam section 142 will not urge the securingpress plate 141 such that thesecuring press plate 141 is automatically dropped down and will not enclose theelectroplating plate 15 with theprotruded plate 13. At this instance, the operator can unload theentire base frame 1 from theelectrode plate 15 allowing the suspension of a next base frame. - The
urging plate 12 is made from metallic material covered with aninsulation cover 121 so as to provide stable conductivity of theelectroplating plate 5. Thus, the process of electroplating is stable. - The
base frame 1 is protrudingly mounted with at least apivot seat 16 so as to pivotally connect thefirst end 4 a of the board-pressingsection 40 of theoperating rod 4. - The
base frame 1 includes at least a pressingelastic rod 17 having afirst end 171 being locked to thefirst board body 11 and asecond end 172 being constantly urged on to theurging plate 12 so as to clip theelectroplating plate 5 for electroplating process. - The
second end 172 of theelastic rod 17 has an inclined section or circular shape so as to guide theelectroplating base plate 5 to be inserted smoothly, between theelastic rod 17 and theurging plate 12. - The
operating rod 4 includes apressing plate 40 having afirst end 4 a pivotally mounted to thepivotal seat 16 of thebase frame 1, and between thesecond end 4 b of thepressing plate 40 and thebase frame 1, aspring 41 is firmly secured for restoration of the pressing plate section of theoperating rod 4. - The linking
rod module 42 between theoperating rod 4 and thefirst shaft 2 includes asecuring block 421 having a first end secured to thefirst shaft 2; a second end being pivotally connected to thefirst end 4 a of thepressing plate section 40. When thesecond end 4 b is pressed, thefirst end 4 a, as shown inFIG. 5 will push the linkingmodule 42 so that thefirst shaft 2 moves accordingly toward R1 direction to rotate a small angle. At the same time, therespective roller 3 eccentrically mounted to thefirst shaft 2 rotates a small angle and theroller edge 30 forms a gap with theurging plate 12 to allow thebase plate 5 for electroplating is inserted. - As shown in FIGS. 1 to 11, the clipping device includes a
base frame 1 including afirst plate body 11 connected to a negative electrode and the two sides of thebases frame 1 provided respectively a protrudedarm 18. The end section of the protrudedarm 18 is connected to amount seat 18 a (as shown inFIGS. 10 and 11 ). Themount seat 18 a includes at least aneccentric trigger plate 182 to stably sidably connected to asliding rod 181. Asecond plate body 11′ is positioned between two slidingrods 181. Thebase frame 1 further comprises afirst shaft 2 connected to the two ends of thebase frame 1; asecond shaft 2′ connected between twosliding rod 181; a plurality ofpressing rollers 3 eccentrically connected to the first and thesecond shaft roller edge 30 of theroller 3 is constantly pressing thebase frame 1 and thesecond plate body 11′, twooperating rods pressing plate section end 4 a respectively pivotally mounted to thebase frame 1 and aspring 41 to restore to its original position. In between thepressing plate section operating rod second shaft module second end 4 b of thepressing plate section second shaft pressing rollers 3 on the first and thesecond shaft roller edge 30 and thefirst plate body 11 and thesecond plate body 11′ to produce a gap for the insertion of a base plate for electroplating. When thepressing plate section operating rod spring roller edge 30 presses thebase plate 5, as shown inFIG. 6 , to tightly clip thebase plate 5 for electroplating. - The two sides of the
second plate body 11′ are respectively provided with alateral wall 111′ corresponding positioned with ashaft hole 111 a′ so as to pivotally mount the rod end of thesecond shaft 2′. Thesecond plate body 11′ contains at least anurging plate 12′ covered with aninsulation mount 121′. Theurging plate 12′ is corresponding to apressing roller 3 so that theroller edge 30 is constantly close or approaching theurging plate 12′ to clip the plate edge of thebase plate 5. - The
second plate body 11′ at least includes anelastic rod 17 having oneend 171 locked to thesecond plate body 11′ and thesecond end 172 urges theurging plate 12′ so as to clip tightly thebase plate 5. - In between the
pressing plate section 40′ and the linkingmodule 42′, there is asecuring block 421′ having a first end connected to thesecond shaft 2′, a linkingrod 422′ having one end pivotally connected to the second end of thesecuring block 421′ and the second end pivotally connected to the first end of thepressing plate section 40. When thesecond end 4 b is pressed, thefirst end 4 a, as shown inFIGS. 1 and 2 , will push the linkingrod module 42′ so that thesecond shaft 2′ rotates to a small angle, and at the same time, the plurality ofpressing rollers 3 mounted at thesecond shaft 2′ rotates a small angle such that between theroller edge 30 and theurging plate 12′, a gap is formed for the insertion of the plate edge of the base plates for electroplating. - As shown in
FIGS. 2 and 10 , the linkingrod 422′ includes tworods first rod 422 a is connected to amount seat 423 pivotally mounted at least aneccentric trigger plate 423′ so as to slidably connect to anotherrod 422 b. The triggering of theplate 423′ tightly connects the tworods rod 422′ including the tworods - In accordance with the present invention, the first and the
second plate body - The urging
plates insulation mount pressing roller 3, theelastic rod 17 and thecorresponding base plate 5 for electroplating, thus the electroplated layer is uniform. - It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
- While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
Claims (11)
1. A clipping device of an electroplating base plate comprising a base frame connected to an electrode plate so as to link to a negative electrode; a first shaft pivotally connected to the two ends of the base frame; a plurality of the pressing rollers eccentrically mounted to the first shaft so that the roller edge of the roller presses the base frame; and an operating rod including a board-pressing section having a first end pivotally mounted to the base frame which is restored constantly by a spring and a linking rod module being positioned between the operating rod and the first shaft and a second end of the pressed the board-pressing section, the first shaft being rotated with an angle, and the pressing roller is rotated to an angle so that there is a gap formed between the roller edge and the base frame for insertion of the base plate for electroplating, and after the releasing of the board-pressing section of the operating rod, the spring causes the restoration such that the roller edge presses the electroplating base plate so as to tightly clip the electroplating base plate to proceed with electroplating operation.
2. The clipping device of claim 1 , wherein the base frame includes a first plate body having a side wall protruded at the side end, and a shaft hole being formed corresponding to the side wall so as to pivotally mounted the first shaft therein; at least an urging plate fastened to the first plate body and the urging plate correspondingly urges the pressing roller and the roller edge of the pressing roller approaches the urging plate so as to clip an electroplating base plate, the main frame further includes a pressing elastic rod having a first end being locked to the first plate body and a second end being constantly urged on to the urging plate and the second end of the elastic plate has an inclined section.
3. The clipping device of claim 1 , wherein between the operating rod and the first shaft, there is a securing block having a first end linked to the first shaft, and a linking rod having one rod end pivotally connected to the second end of the securing block and the second end is linked to the first end of the pressing plate section.

A clipping device of an electroplating base plate comprising a base frame including a first plate body connected to a negative electrode and the two sides of the bases frame provided respectively a protruded arm, and the end section of the protruded arm is connected to a mount seat and the mount seat includes at least an eccentric trigger plate to stably sidably connected to a sliding rod, and a second plate body is positioned between two sliding rods, and the base frame further comprises a first shaft connected to the two ends of the base frame; a second shaft connected between two sliding rod; a plurality of pressing rollers eccentrically connected to the first and the second shaft, and the roller edge of the roller is constantly pressing the base frame and the second plate body, two operating rods respectively includes a pressing plate section having one end respectively pivotally mounted to the base frame and a spring to restore to its original position. In between the pressing plate section of the operating rod and the corresponding first and the second shaft is connected to a linking module and the second end of the pressing plate section is interlinked to the movement of the first and the second shaft to rotate an angle, and the pressing rollers on the first and the second shaft are urged to rotate an angle so that the roller edge and the first plate body and the second plate body to produce a gap for the insertion of a base plate for electroplating, and when the pressing plate section of the operating rod is released, the spring restores to its original position so that the roller edge presses the base plate to tightly clip the base plate for electroplating.
5. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the two side ends of the second plate body are protruded with side wall with shaft hole for mounting the two side rod ends of the second shaft.
6. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the second plate body is provided with at least an urging plate covered with an insulation mount and urging plate is corresponding to a pressing roller so that the roller edge is constantly close or approaching the urging plate to clip the plate edge of the base plate.
7. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the linking rod module between the pressing plate section and the second shaft includes a securing block having a first end connected to the second shaft, a linking rod having one end pivotally connected to the second end of the securing block and the second end pivotally connected to the first end of the pressing plate section.
8. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the first and the second plate body are horizontally arranged.
9. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the first and second plate body are vertically arranged.
10. The clipping device of claim 1 , wherein one side of the first plate body is protruded with a protruded plate and the top end of the protruded plate is a suspension hook so as to hold onto the electroplating plate, and the middle section of the protruded plate is pivotally mounted with a cam triggering plate, and is mounted slidably a securing press plate between the triggering plate and the protruded plate.
11. The clipping device of claim 4 , wherein the first plate body one side of the first plate body is protruded with a protruded plate, and the top end of the protruded plate is a suspension hook so as to hold onto the electroplating plate, and the middle section of the protruded plate is pivotally mounted with a cam triggering plate, and is mounted sidably a securing press plate between the triggering plate and the protruded plate.
