Abstract

The present invention discloses an apparatus for packaging and containing an object, comprising a lower compartment with a plurality of sections, each comprising two or less crevices; a lower fixing segment formed between the sections; an upper casing having a folded line integrally extended to one side of the lower compartment, and its dimension being corresponsive to the lower compartment, and having a latch hole at the intersection with the lower compartment; an outer casing, being integrally extended from another side of the lower compartment, and an external latch plate being disposed on the outer side of the outer casing corresponsive to the latch hole; and a wrapping section, being extended from the outer side of the external casing, and its outer side having a wrapping latch plate, such that an object can be fixed when passing through the bottom of the lower fixing segment. After the upper casing covers on the lower compartment and the wrapping section folds and covers the upper casing, the wrapping latch plate will latch the wrapping latch hole.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an apparatus for packing and containing objects, more particularly an apparatus using modules cut from a sheet material to form a plurality of fixing segments for fixing and containing an object.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • For articles of daily use, it is very common to package a contain these articles into a pack, such as a tool set, a bathing set, and a cosmetic maintenance set, etc. These sets are some kinds of packages, and its purpose is to pack objects with similar nature and application. Completeness is one of the major requirements of these packages.
  • For example, personal hygiene products such as a bathing and personal hygiene maintenance product provided by hotels generally includes toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, shampoo, liquid soap, cotton bar, razor, and other articles. The packaging of these objects is generally a problem. The traditional ways usually places these items separately on the vanity top or puts these items into a container. A user has to search for the desired item when he/she wants to use a particular item, and thus such conventional way lacks integrity and requires improvements.
  • In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the inventor of this invention based on years of experience engaging in hotel management and performed extensive research and development and experiments to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art and finally invented the “apparatus for packaging and containing object” in accordance with this invention.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for packaging and containing object safely, which uses modules cut from a sheet material to form a plurality of fixing segments for fixing and containing an object.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The present invention can be more fully understood by reference to the following detailed description and accompanying drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is an illustrative diagram of the structure of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention being spread out.
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective diagram of the folded structure according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is an illustrative diagram of the structure of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention being spread out.
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective diagram of the folded and assembled structure according to the second preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • In general, the apparatus for packaging and containing object in accordance with the present invention as shown in the figures is made of a single sheet material, and such sheet material includes but not limited to a flat piece of paper, a piece of corrugated paper, or a polymer material. Such sheet material basically comprises a lower compartment 1, an upper casing 2, an external casing 3, and/or a wrapping section 4, and uncut dotted lines between these components for folding.
  • The lower compartment 1 has a plurality of sections for stamping, each section having two or less crevices 11, and each section forming a fixing segment 12 between the crevices. Thus, the fixing segment 12 protrudes from the crevices for letting the object pass through. Therefore, the length of the crevice of each section depends on the desired object; for example, the length of the crevice for cotton swabs is shorter than that for liquid soap or shampoo.
  • The upper casing 2 is disposed on the side adjacent to the lower compartment 1, having a thickness section 21 for defining a thickness with the lower compartment 1 to accommodate objects. The thickness of the thickness section 21 depends on the thickness of the desired object. Similar to the lower compartment, the upper casing 2 may have a plurality of cut sections with crevices 22 and form a fixing segment 23 between the crevices 22. The position of the fixing segment 23 is preferably disposed at the interlacing crevices after being folded to prevent the increase of thickness due to overlapping. In the meantime, a plurality of through holes 24 also can be formed by stamping and an upper fixing segment 25 can be formed between the through holes 24, or a plurality of latch plates 26 can be cut out.
  • The external casing 3 is integrally coupled to another side of the lower compartment 1 and its dimensions correspond with the upper casing 2 to facilitate its connection. An external latch plate 31 is extended from the outer side of the external casing 3 and disposed at position corresponding to the thickness section 21. A latch hole 27 is stamped out to facilitate the folding and coupling.
  • Please refer to FIG. 2 for a preferred embodiment. After an object passes through the space protruded from the fixing segments 12, 23 to fix the object into a fixed position, the apparatus for packaging and containing object can be folded and an external latch plate 31 can be latched into a latch hole 27 to constitute a semi-closed package. Then, a strap A printed with advertising or slogan is used to tie the package as shown in FIG. 2.
  • Please refer to FIG. 3. To provide better protection to the packaged object, a wrapping section 4 is extended from the outer side of the external casing 3, and a wrapping latch plate 41 is extended from the outer side of the wrapping section 4, and a corresponding wrapping latch hole 42 is disposed between the external casing 3 and the lower compartment 1. Then, the external latch plate 31 and the latch hole 27 can be waived. In order to cover both lateral sides, a foldable external casing wing 32 is extended from both sides of the external casing 3 and the wrapping section 4, such that after the external casing wings 32 are folded, it will form a package as shown in FIG. 4. A binding strap with advertising can be added to tie the package.
  • The effects of the present invention include the following:
  • (1) The production of the present invention is simple and easy, and the cost is low, particularly this invention adopts the single sheet design so that using a knife mold is sufficient to make the shaping. Therefore, the manufacturing cost will be very low.
  • (2) The present invention has the effect of fully accommodating the objects, particularly it can accommodate the entire set of objects and then fold the package into a semi-closed space as needed to overcome the shortcomings of the disorderly arrangement of objects.
  • (3) The present invention has better sanitary conditions, particularly the cost of this invention is low, and thus can be designed as disposable packages. It is very suitable for the use that requires daily exchange such as the use in a hotel, and the disposable package can also avoid any sanitation issue caused by repeated uses.
  • (4) The present invention provides advertising; for instance, patterns of textual advertising can be printed on the apparatus of this invention to achieve the advertising effect.
  • While the invention has been described with reference to a preferred embodiment thereof, it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
