  • One will begin with a long strip of material. It is cut so one piece of the material is longer than the other strip. It is hemed at all the ends. The longer end make a loop for the hearing aid and sew as in FIG. 1. 1 . It is the longer strap with a hem in and back out of the anchor as shown in FIG. 1. 2 , and through the second anchor FIG. 1. 4 , and back in and out underneath the first anchor and sewn FIG. 2. 2 . It is for the adjustable part for the hearing aid retainer. Now, one will have the smaller strap. Begin with one end of the strap. Place the strap through the second anchor as shown in FIG. 1. 5 . It is sewn to the strap. At the other end of the strap make a loop for the hearing aid and sew as in FIG. 1. 6 . The finished product will be worn like FIG. 3 and FIG. 4.

Abstract

A hearing aid retainer is designed to help keep hearing aids close to the head to prevent the hearing aids from flopping over the ears while being active. The hearing aid retainer would also help keep the ears from protruding due to larger hearing aids. Also the hearing aid retainer would keep the hearing aids together to prevent loss.
The hearing aid retainer was developed by Delores Cereceres. Whom is a citizen of the United States and resides in Westminster, Colo. The hearing aid retainer would help the deaf community. The following is the specifications.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • This invention will help children and teens who wear hearing aids live an active lifestyle without the burden of an uncontrollable hearing aid. Without said retainer the hearing aids tend to flop over the ear. With said retainer in place, the hearing aids stand firmly against the head, allowing free movement of the head without concern of losing or damaging the hearing aids. [0001]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The current invention will enable users of hearing aids to overcome minor problems associated with hearing aids. This simple but highly effective hearing aid retainer will be enjoyed by the user. The hearing aid retainer will give the benefits as mentioned in the above paragraph.[0002]

  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 the diagrams shown of the hearing aid retainer shows how a retainer is made. FIG. 1.[0007] 1 Strap sewn together to form a loop for hearing aid. FIG. 1.2 Anchor for adjustable strap. FIG. 1.3 Adjustable strap. FIG. 1.4 Anchor for adjustable strap. FIG. 1.5 Non adjustable strap sewn to anchor. FIG. 1.6 Strap sewn together to form a loop for hearing aid.

Claims (8)

What is claimed is:
1. A hearing aid retainer that is close to the head to prevent hearing aids from flopping over the ear from being active in sports or playing.
2. The hearing aid retainer will help keep the ears from protruding due to the larger hearing aids.
3. The hearing aid retainer would help keep the hearing aids together to prevent an expensive loss.
4. The hearing aid retainer can be concealed with longer hair.
5. The hearing aid retainer can adjust for different head sizes.
6. The hearing aid retainer is developed to use two hearing aids (binaural) only.
7. The hearing aid retainer can be worn by a boy or girl.
8. The hearing aid retainer is easly attached to hearing aids.
