Be it known that I, PETER CUNNEEN,"a citizen of the United States, residing ,at New Rochelle, in the county of Westchester and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Iioun tain-Scrubbers lof which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to that class of devices known as fountain scrubbers, and has for its object to provide a simplified construction of the same which may be made cheaply and whichis capable of ready adjustment and operation 1n connection with an ordinary brush and handle.v These objects I accom lishin the mannerl and b the means hereinafter described and claime reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which L- l v Figure 1 is a vertical sectional view of my improved deviceattached to a brush and handle. In the sa1d'- drawing the reference numeral 1 denotes a wooden or other handle or stick, and 2 the'cylindr'ical chamber attached to said handle 1 by the means of a collar 3 brazed or otherwise fixed to said chamber v and attached to saidy handle by means of a'screwfl. The chamber 2 being charged with water or other liquid to be used, the discharge of said liquid therefrom, may lbe in the latter being that it shall be provided' with the central aperture 22, which readily can be made.

While I have described my device p'rimarily as a fountain scrubber, it will be understood that it is capable of use for other purposes, such as for oiling or painting loors or for similar purposes. y

Hav-ing thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to'secure by Letters Patent is:-
