Having thus described. my invcntioml claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patcnty r 1. ft knife consisting of a handle member formed with an integral spring arm, the inner end of the handle having a socket located adjacent said arm, a stud on the inner end of the arm, a stud on the outer end of the arm formed with an inwardly extending undercut portion, and a blade having an inner aperture to receive the inner stud and also having an outer aperture to receive the outer stud, the outer aperture being formed to provide an inclined wall which engages the undercut portion of the outer stud, the inner end of the blade being received in said socket. 4

A knife including a handle member provided with a spring arm, a blade seating on one side face of the arm, and interengaging means between the bladeand arm for holding the blade on} the arm by virtue of the spring tension exerted by said arm on said blade, said interengaging means being released by flexure of said arm.

A knife consisting of a handle member, a spring arm connected at one end to the handle member,'a blade seating on one side face oi the arm, means co-secure. the inner end portion of the blade against movement relative to the handle member, and means on the outer end portion of the arm to engage the blade to secure same to the arm, said means being cngageable with and dis engageable from the blade by flexing of the arm.
