Be it known that I, MICHAEL HENRY SHANLEY, a citizen ot' the United States, residing at Granbury, in the county of Hood and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Fountain- Brushes; and l do declare the following to,

invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention relates to fountain brushes.

One object ot the invention is to provide a fountain brush having in connection therewith means for wiping the surface after the iatter has been scrubbed by the brush.

A further object is to provide a brush of this character having means whereby wiping cloth may be secured thereto in position for use, said cloth holding mechanism also being adapted to forni a yielding support or spring handle whereby the device may be convenientlyv carried and employed as a sprinkler. l
