Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Bestrahlen eines Substrats mittels UV-Strahlen weist eine längliche UV-Lampe (3) mit Reflektor (4) entlang einer Längsachse (A) auf. Die Lampe (3) ist derart in einem Gehäuse (1) angeordnet, dass UV-Strahlen direkt oder indirekt an einer Austrittsseite aus dem Gehäuse (1) austreten. Es ist eine erste Kühlanordnung (7, 8, 13, 14) zum Kühlen der UV-Lampe (3) durch einen Kühlgasstrom vorgesehen und eine zweite Kühlanordnung (5, 5', 17) zum Kühlen des Kühlgasstromes mittels eines Fluids. Die Austrittsseite des Gehäuses (1) ist durch eine UV-durchlässige Platte (2) abgeschlossen. Zum Kühlen der UV-Lampe (3) sind nun mindestens zwei quer zur Längsachse (A) blasende Einheiten mit je einem Gebläse (8) vorgesehen, durch deren Luftführung die Kühlluft auf die UV-Lampe (3) leitbar, an den Wandungen des Reflektors (4) vorbei leitbar und schliesslich wieder dem Gebläse (8) zuführbar ist. Die zweite Kühlanordnung (5, 5', 17) weist Kühlflächen (13, 15) am Wege der Kühlluft auf und führt so die Wärme nach aussen ab.

An apparatus for irradiating a substrate by means of UV rays has an elongated UV lamp (3) with a reflector (4) along a longitudinal axis (A). The lamp (3) is arranged in a housing (1) such that UV rays exit the housing (1) directly or indirectly at an exit side. There is a first cooling arrangement (7, 8, 13, 14) for cooling the UV lamp (3) provided by a cooling gas flow and a second cooling arrangement (5, 5 ', 17) for cooling the cooling gas flow by means of a fluid. The outlet side of the housing (1) is closed by a UV-transparent plate (2). For cooling the UV lamp (3) now at least two transverse to the longitudinal axis (A) blowing units are each provided with a fan (8) through whose air duct the cooling air to the UV lamp (3) conductive, on the walls of the reflector (4) passable and finally the fan (8) can be fed. The second cooling arrangement (5, 5 ', 17) has cooling surfaces (13, 15) on the path of the cooling air and thus dissipates the heat to the outside.
