Claims

Chair comprising a base ( 1 ) and a seat ( 3 ) positioned thereon, wherein: a) the seat ( 3 ) has a backrest ( 42 ) at which slots ( 420 ) divide segments ( 421 ) to impart elasticity to the backrest ( 42 ); and

b) is provided, the backrest (42) with a padding (6), characterized in that

c) between the backrest ( 42 ) and the padding ( 6 ) a cover ( 5,5 ' ) is inserted, which at least partially covers the segments ( 421 ) and the intermediate slots ( 420 ) to between adjacent segments ( 421 ) to act as a harmonizing member in the elastic deflection.

Chair according to claim 1, characterized in that

a) the cover ( 5 ) is arranged as a bag-shaped overhang over the backrest ( 42 ) to the side of the user and to the outside; and

Chair according to claims 8 and 9, characterized in that

a) in the carrier ( 2 ), preferably in its corner regions, screw seats ( 20 ) are arranged;

b) in the bottom ( 40 ), complementary to the position of the screw seats ( 20 ) of the carrier ( 2 ), screw nests ( 400 ) are present; and

c) engage screws ( 29 ) in the screw seats ( 20 ) and the screw nests ( 400 ) to secure the seat ( 3 ) on the support ( 2 ).
