Wie aus der Figur 4 zu erkennen ist, ist die Handhabe 11 an dem Tiefenfilterblock 7 als Bügelgriff 12 ausgebildet, der an der Rückseite 13 des Tiefenfilterblocks 7 festgelegt ist. Dabei besteht das als Tiefenfilterblock 7 ausgebildete Einzelteil aus Schaumstoff. Der verwendete Schaumstoff für das Einsatzteil ist auf PUR-Basis mit nachträglich geöffneten Poren gebildet. Als vorteilhaft hat sich eine Blasendichte im Bereich zwischen 20 bis 50 Blasen pro Quadratzoll (PPI) bei einer Schaumstoffdicke von 20 bis 50 mm erwiesen, so dass eine gute Filterwirkung und ein gutes Durchströmen für den Prozessluftstrom erreicht wird. Zur Entnahme des Filtereinsatzes 4 müssen lediglich die Revisionsklappe 6 und der Wärmetauscherdeckel 9 demontiert werden. Der Filtereinsatz 4 liegt dann frei zugänglich und kann aus dem Gerät 2 entnommen werden. Der Filtereinsatz 4 muss aufgrund der offenporigen Struktur erst nach mehreren, bis zu einigen hundert Trockenvorgängen ausgebaut und gereinigt werden. dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass der Filtereinsatz (4) aus einem Tiefenfilterblock (7) zur Filtrierung von Staub besteht, wobei der Tiefenfilterblock (7) als separates Einsatzteil selbst dichtend in den Strömungskanal (8) einsetzbar ist.
