Abstract

Bei Durchlaufwaschmaschinen (10) für gewerbliche Wäschereien wird insbesondere die Klarwaschflüssigkeit durch Dampf aufgeheizt. Dadurch kann die Durchlaufwaschmaschine (10) auch in Wäschereien eingesetzt werden die über keine Dampferzeugungsanlage verfügen. Außerdem sieht die Erfindung es vor, den Gasbrenner (28) des Durchlauferhitzers kontinuierlich zu betreiben, indem nach dem Aufheizen der Klarwaschflüssigkeit für andere Zwecke benötigte Behandlungsflüssigkeit aufgeheizt wird, vorzugsweise in einem Speichertank (31) zwischengespeicherte Behandlungsflüssigkeit. Dadurch ist ein ununterbrochener, wirtschaftlicher Betrieb des Gasbrenners (28) gewährleistet.
